To Cube or not to Cube...
Have our 2nd Cube now. Learned about the CVT on our first one, (toast at 92k miles), but Nissan extended the warranty to 125k, so we had a new one dealer-installed for free. No other issues to well over 150k miles when we sold it. One of the best urban cars ever made, yet roomy and comfortable enough for long trips. Our second Cube is a pearl white 6-speed manual and it's a blast! Feels much faster, (though probably isn't) and has been more reliable than our 2 Honda Civics ever were. Averaging 31 mpg hwy at 75-80 mph. Bottom line here applies to any used car. A 100k, well-maintained Cube will last longer than a neglected 100k Lexus. Avoid the CVT, get a manual trans and have it inspected before you buy. Check the Cube forums and consumer reviews. Thousands of happy owners outweigh a few negative reddit opinions.

In the Middle - 2010 with Auto Transmiss
Great gas mileage-drinks less gas than my former 1994 Honda Civic LX (I just put gas in at 250 miles-1/4 tank left). Driving in the wind is scary-it feels like the tires might give way and makes car swerve, badly. Great view of hood to map out lanes when driving. Bad thing that they don't have inside hooks to hang dry cleaning or other stuff. Less compartments (no compartments under seats).
