Under promises and over delivers!

It really is a surprising car. The doors shut like a vault the car feels sold and all the little extras deliver a level of style and sophistication that make you fell like a star pulling up to a pump at a gas station. No doubt there are cars that are faster, cheaper and even ranked more reliable... But when it comes down to it, the person that buys an E-class isn't your normal car buyer. They have disposable income, they don't want to show up in a parking lot where you can find 30 other cars just like yours. They are looking for something different, something elegant, and the E-class has options and appointments you just don't find in any other car. They are on top pf their game when it comes to style and the the interiors are some of the best in the market today. The osmosis from the S-class is apparent and if you cant afford $100K+ optioned S-class then the E-class is your ticket. You wont regret buying this car.

CPO E300 Sport

I drove C class sedans for about a dozen years (2005, 2009, 2011 and 2112 models) and then moved up to a. 2015 E350 a few-years-ago. Yesterday I bought a CPO 2018 E300 Sport with the AMG Line and Premium 3 packages. I always buy a one or two-year-old certified car and can't lease as I average about 30,000 miles per year. The 2015 E350 was a nice upgrade from the C class, which I always enjoyed, and the new generation 2018 is more of the same. While most people look at the new technology of the W213 generation cars as the biggest improvement, I actually find the biggest upgrade to be the driveline. Sure, the 3.0 liter V6 in my previous car was more powerful, but the 2.0 liter turbo four cylinder makes the same torque, and most importantly, that torque comes on at far lower RPM. The broader torque curve and nine speed (vs. seven speed) transmission results in a smoother and quieter ride that accelerates almost as hard (6.2 instead of 6.0 seconds 0-60) and returns better fuel economy (about 3 MPG better across the board in real world driving). There are other improvements as well. The new seats are more supportive and comfortable, the suspension is a bit more compliant (I have the standard steel-spring sport suspension) and the car is just better insulated against wind, road and tire noise (I do not have the quiet ride package). Of course the technology that attracts so much attention in professional reviews (my Premium 3 car has all of the semi-autonomous driving aids) is nice, I just think that the basic goodness of the platform is even more impressive.

I purchased a new E-320, fully loaded. Hand washed from day one to this day. Driven only 14 miles/day! It has only 40k miles. I babied this vehicle and it is in mint condition.looks like a museum piece! At around 30k miles the leather seat's seams came apart! (???) Note that i have the massage package so you would expect a top quality leather used by a high end vehicle right? ** wrong **. Dealer "did me a favor" and replaced it. Later I found out that MB * knew * about the upholstery's low quality they used. Now, at 40k miles the leather top, left side of the driver seat is peeling off!! Went to the dealer - horrible dealer btw - (MB of Nanuet RT304 Nanuet, NY) and the service manager, was quick to say oh! Wear and tear... Not covered, sorry. Are you kidding me??? 40k miles? I weight 180 pounds, tall and slim. My neighbor has a BMW with over 80k miles, he weights probably 350 pounds and the seat look like new! Do yourself a favor MB has the reputation but the quality parts they use - at least the leather - is horrible. Never ever again!! And also stay away form that horrible dealer. I plan to put a sign in my vehicle and drive around with a picture of the peeling leather and the name of the dealer who refuses to take care of it. That, based on the mint condition of the vehicle most likely will raise eyebrows. Shame on you Mercedes Benz!

I own an 11 E350 & it’s in the shop so the e300 is a loaner. My car has 119k miles on it. I love the look of my car, it’s black on black and always get compliments. This 18 though has been everything I wished mine was. I love the power delivery, it’s very smooth, the seats are very comfortable and the car is quiet on the inside. You’ll easily be driving 80 mph and not realize it. The car also has a sporty feel to it, it handles well and has a good ride to it. Ive been contemplating an 18 S560 but this might do.
