This car will give you a smooth silky ride, with enough pick up to make you excited. It combines luxury and sportiness and fun with the top down. I am 21/2 years into a lease and have not experienced any mechanical issues. At the moment I am considering buying this car out of lease. The only negative issue I have with this car is the navigation It has issues with the command system. However it does have Apple Car Play, so I use google maps or Waze. Strongly recommend this vehicle.

ENJOY MORE THAN I EXPECTED....

The 2018 e class Cabriolet is the most fun I have had driving in memory. It is equal parts sports car, smooth luxury cruiser, and is comfortable in either capacity. Top can be removed or raised while in motion....and is also key operated. Technology is the most advanced and precise as there is on the market today. GO GET ONE.

You don’t really need the V6 version at all!

I’m a Mercedes guy and I normally drive the AMG versions because of the power. Got this E300 sport package with premium 2 to replace my wife’s car. At first, I was reluctant because it only had a 4 cylinder engine, which was ironic for a 60K luxury car. I researched the reviews online but they were not helpful, because they focused more on the advance tech features rather than the engine performance. I test drove it and boy oh boy, I was very impressed with the engine. It does not whine at all like most 4 bangers and because of the 9 speed gtronic transmission this car switches through the gears very effortlessly! The engine sounds better than the previous models V6s. The ride quality and handling is comparable to my S Class which is very impressive. The standard multi color ambient interior lighting is so cool specially driving at night. Sooo!!! Happy!!!

Bait and Switch (Active Traffic)

Caveat Emptor (BUYER BEWARE!!!)  I just confirmed with a Mercedes rep at MBrace that if you own a 2018 Mercedes E300, you will not be allowed to renew your Active Traffic subscription. They apparently switched vendors and have no timeline on a substitute (if any).  This is a very poor way to treat customers of this luxury brand. I have also read in a couple forums that this applies to 2017-2018 E and S classes.  I can only confirm that it applies to the 2018 E class as I have spoken directly to MB about my car.

Under promises and over delivers!

It really is a surprising car. The doors shut like a vault the car feels sold and all the little extras deliver a level of style and sophistication that make you fell like a star pulling up to a pump at a gas station. No doubt there are cars that are faster, cheaper and even ranked more reliable... But when it comes down to it, the person that buys an E-class isn't your normal car buyer. They have disposable income, they don't want to show up in a parking lot where you can find 30 other cars just like yours. They are looking for something different, something elegant, and the E-class has options and appointments you just don't find in any other car. They are on top pf their game when it comes to style and the the interiors are some of the best in the market today. The osmosis from the S-class is apparent and if you cant afford $100K+ optioned S-class then the E-class is your ticket. You wont regret buying this car.
