not worth the money - systems unreliable
2020 lincoln aviator - Driver and passenger front seats are very uncomfortable and no room to move.back seat leg space tight with driver in front. steering wheel is tight, large around (UNCOMFORTABLE FOR LONG DRIVES) and steering is hard. too responsive for with even the slightest of movement. you hear it switching geaars. runs really loud and Electronics are unreliable. had car for 7 months and already have had 2 door buttons need replacing, PSGR CANNOT EXIT IS A SAFETY ISSUE , back up camera goes to blue and car auto stopped itself for no reason while in reverses. i couldnt press gas and go back or forward.THIS IS A SAFETY FEATURE. Would love to see it but ill lose 18K .... so im stuck forget concierge service, 1 month to make a service appointment for a pickup.

Nice SUV but
We purchased a 2020 aviator and it has been ok. We have had lots of issues, some fixed and some don't exist (service can't duplicate or find anything wrong). We have had to have the rotors turned and now it needs it again (27,000 miles on car). Lots of electronic bugs that come and go. Weird steering behavior on the highway. We have decided to bail out before items start costing more money to fix. It seems Lincoln rushed development of this model. It also seems the production line has some fit and finish issues (at least on the 2020 model).

Comfortable ride and no issues over seven months
Had an MKT prior to this, and the Aviator is a major upgrade. The car is comfortable, peppy, and handles well. The HUD is great. There is not great range on the electric only driving, which around the city gives about 19 miles - however on a longer trip of about 150 miles I did get about 48 miles of electric driving. When going down a hill it switches to electric and charges the battery - the switch is not noticeable but it does indicate when you are in electric mode. The park assist seems more cumbersome than on the MKT, but it does support both parking types and will help you exit the spot from horizontal situations. The car seats have more options than I've been able to figure out, and in some cases you need to go into the main screen rather than the buttons on the door. The fit and finish of the interior is first class - no issues. The all around camera, is handy, and there are warnings if you get to close to something - front, back or sides, while parking or backing out. The car has the pilot assist, it will steer itself and in combination with the adaptive cruise maintain speed etc. The down side is you need to keep a death grip on the steering wheel to keep the system active. Even a heavy touch is not enough to convince the system you have your hands on the wheel. I'm not a big fan of using those systems but if you are beware. There is also rear auto braking - I tested it with an empty plastic pail. It works and the stop is jarring. The road lighting at night is good, the auto high beams improved over the MKT model. The engine is loud, by design I expect, under moderate or heavy acceleration. There is little road noise at highway speeds, and in electric mode it is almost silent. My concern is with all the technology and gadgets on this auto, it may become expensive to maintain after the warranty period. I've download the Lincoln My Way to an android phone. Plenty of room to improve that - it's hit an miss as to when the phone as key works. Overall I am very happy with my selection.

Almost there, but some things to work out!
I love the Aviator, but Lincoln (Ford) has some things to work out! I currently and previously owned BMW's and the Aviator is not at the same level of quality, luxury, or functionality (electronics). • Lincoln Way App – needs lots of TLC • Navigating the touch screen display is not user friendly and initially getting to and back to the main menu should be a lot easier • Apple CarPlay (Lincoln Way) doesn't play nice together o Leave your iPhone plugged in, turn off your vehicle, turn it back on. Almost certainly guarantee you that your vehicle screen will blackout • Intermittent - Rear Camera, twice in 2.5 months it did work • Intermittent - Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers, do not work correctly, ongoing problem • Some refinements are low quality and not at the luxury-level o rattling/vibrating from cover around digital instrument cluster cover o an issue with a lower driver seat cover, when exiting the vehicle, distributing weight on the seat, breaks a clip on the seat cover • Auto-stop, come on, why do I have to turn it off every time I love driving the Aviator – fun, good visibility, ample room, and plenty out power. Lincoln (Ford) doesn't 100% back the Aviator, clearly, by the high residual on the lease. First-year release, lots to improve, good luck.

Charging issues
I bought the 2020 Grand Touring Black Label, fully loaded, figuring it to be the best on the market. The vehicle is great, very responsive, and just a joy to drive, but as it is a hybrid, I like to keep it charged to enjoy the electric option. The only problem so far seems to be in the adapter on the cord itself. I have been through 3 of them thus far, and the third just went on the blink as well. It takes in excess of 11 hours to charge with the 110 cord without the adapter, and only a little over 3 with, but the adapter is faulty! As I have to keep waiting for them to order another, it is aggravating having to keep plugging in to 110 and waiting for a full charge. I have almost 5500 miles on the vehicle already, so you can imagine how much I like to drive this vehicle instead of one of my trucks. Sure wish they'd get this issue fixed soon!
