I love my new 350h

After test driving Tesla Model Y, Lexus RX 350, we decided on the NX 350h. We have to wait 6 months to get it. But we love the 2022 NX 350h - a lot ! Front look is more impressive than the RX. If you are over 6' tall or you have an army of kids to haul around, I don't think this is the right car for you. But for us, it's perfect. The A25A engine (Atkinson cycle) and electrical motor/generator combo will not produce the power of a 6-cynlinder. But I have no complaint about the 40mpg for the 1st 3200 miles. AWD is fantastic - my wife accidentally hit over 90 mph in heavy rain and she didn't feel a thing. 2 things I don't like: 1, controls are far more complicated than needed - the user manual and the booklets in total are 2-7/8" thick. 2, there is NO spare wheel because the car comes with run-flat tires. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this vehicle.

Bad Quality Control, serious safe concern

Purchased the 2022 NX350h in September 2022. Only after a few hundreds of miles, I’ve noticed some quality issues. One piece of interior plastic popped off (dealer fixed it quickly), and the air vent on the driver side popped off. The key fob was down twice (what dealership did was to replace battery, but the problem still exists occasionally). The air vent issue hasn’t been fixed it yet. It’s already January 2023! I’ve been driving a brand new car without driver side air vent! I can put it back, but the vent will pop out in a minute. I’m worried about this loose part hitting my face in an emergency( serious safety concern)! Other things about this car is pretty much you can expect: mediocre performance, frustrated infotainment system, noisy engine… Since dealership can’t fix the issue, I’m thinking about changing to another brand. Disappointed by this purchase.

Very Disappointed Buyer

Like the other buyers have said, the doors are freeze up in the cold weather, and just couldn't open all of them at all. Tried to contact the dealership for multiple times to fix it, and they couldn't do anything at all except broke the handle of the car. Even the cheaper car would never failed you to open the doors, not to mention we had to pay the premium price (over $60,000) last year for this "Luxury" model of the car. I have been driving different Lexus models in the past years, and this one is by far the worst experience of all time. If you live in the cold area, just imagine you will get lock out at anytime.

NX hybrid is LOADED WITH FRUSTRATION

Despite the pleasant driving and cruising, I can’t overlook the frustration of the overly and outrageous difficulty in using the technology screen that’s confusing, complex and frustrating. They’ve offered way too many options and it’s the most frustrating tech I’ve ever experienced. Not user friendly. Besides the tech issues, I hear no other cars that squeal every time you turn on or turn off the car! This is true and they blame it on the hybrid. We are getting rid of it. Just trying to figure what we will buy with less aggravation!

Not a good choice, lack of power, very disappoint

Test drove 350H over the weekends, and I was very disappointed; even the salesperson told me to avoid it if I go on a long trip or look for comfortable driving. New infotainment systems, but I couldn't get away from the cheap feeling; the powertrain is way behind; it seems like you are pulling the car. I had high expectations of flexibility and luxury comfort, but I asked too much for this leggy 350H. I went to a German brand at last.
