2025 Kia Seltos Consumer Reviews

Best In Class Affordable Compact SUV! Homerun!
My wife and I were looking for an affordable option that we feel would be reliable, comfortable, and safe for our travels. We found all of that and more in our 2025 Seltos S! Our previous SUV is a 2013 GMC Terrain SLE1. We loved the Terrain, but since 125K miles it has began to give us a lot of problems with the 2.4 ltr engine and other systems. It is still sitting in our garage undrivable! We opted not to trade it in with our KIA purchase. Hendricks KIA of Concord was outstanding to work with and made us truly feel welcome and helped us through each step of our purchase with no pressure whatsoever, and in fact went way above and beyond helping us! But this review is about the 2025 Seltos, so let me get back to that. I know some reviews don't give respect to the 2.0 ltr 4-cylinder, but it has good enough power for my driving habits (which it learns in "Smart mode") when driving. I love the fact that the IVVT (CVT) transmission can be switched to "Normal", "Sport", and "Smart" modes of driving; In fact the Sport mode is aggressive in power output and is awesome to have on the highways, if needed. The inside is roomy enough for us and the cargo space is Outstanding! The Tech features are awesome as is the instrumentation and info-tainment touch screen; It should be noted that the screen is smooth and seamless all in one dimension of size. Other vehicles we looked at these screens were separate with the Info-tainment center looking like a vertical IPad screen (which I hated). The seats fit us really good and I haven't found it uncomfortable on a long drive. Gas mileage is awesome! I'm averaging 32 mpg with combined city/highway driving. Overall We love our Seltos, extremely satisfied with our purchase, and KIA hit a homerun with the Seltos!

Road noise
A lot of road noise. Especially with winter tires. Guess thats why the salesman had the A/C blasting and tje radio on loud.
