Used 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring Consumer Reviews
Happy Hatchback
Having driven my Touring for 6 weeks, I am impressed with the fit and finish of the vehicle. I am averaging 30mi on HWY and 27 in town. There a lot of user friendly pockets, there's plenty of head and leg room and I am a 6'2" tall. It may not have the most zip of a car but I am all about getting there safe and its safety really suprized me. Breaking is good and traction control has worked on snowy roads.
Rough Two Months
I owned a Mazda Protege 5 at a similar price and it had very good handling without the noise and harsh ride of this car. It has the harsh ride of a all out sports car with none of the fun power.

Surprised!
I was very surprised by this car, was compared to RAV4 and CRV but after the test drive and price I was sold. I did not need all the bells and whistles as this car has enough already and it is all standard. Drives and handles great and Hyundai quality as of late and the warranty cant be beat. Do your research and find out for yourself! I am extremely happy and feel I made a great choice in buying the Elantra Touring. I do not see too many on the road and always get asked and get looks while driving..........26 to 27 mpg in mixed driving and still breaking in the engine.....
Great little car!
We needed a safe & reliable car for a long commute, and this is a great car for that. The back seat is filled with 2 car seats and my kids love putting their juice in the drop-down drink holder, good gas mileage (approx 24mpg for LA city driving), great audio system with XM a must for time spent in the car. The bluetooth is great but its a hassle to have to add everyone into their phonebook for voice dialing. Very peppy engine & you have to watch your speed because you can't even feel how fast you going due to the lightness of the car. Large cargo - easily holds our large double stroller. Great sporty red color; wish lights & door locks were automatic. Totally recommend this car!
Best car for family
I drove my Elantra Touring about 2 month, 2300 miles. So far, I enjoyed driving this car. Handling and breaking works great on rainy days and snowy days. Quiet riding on highway even over 65 mph. Great Rear visibility. One bad point is rough riding quality. I paid $18 grands for it. I think this is a best car for a couple or family.
