Used 2002 Hyundai Accent Consumer Reviews
Great Price & Fun to Drive
When I went looking for a new car to replace my 10 year old Honda Civic I was shocked at the price of a new car. I was just not in the market to pay outrageous car payments. My fiance suggested I look at the Hyundai Accent, I balked at first because in my mind they were UGLY!! But I went online and took a look, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only by the price but the looks and the warranty too. I have had my Accent for a year now and I still love it.
Defintely Worth the Money
I bought my Accent new in 09/01 and now have 120,000 miles on it. Still get 38 mi/gal and it is one of the best purchases I've made. Only problems I've had were minor - broken door handle, power window cables broke, and an ignition sensor (covered under warranty). My only current issue is a break/leak in the original exhaust (8 winters in Wisconsin will do that), otherwise I've been very pleased with its quality. Because of our new baby, I've looked into a replacement car. Putting a toddler into a car seat in the back is becoming tedious. I wouldn't recommend the Accent for families of four, but as a 1 or 2 person commuter car there is nothing better.

Stylish affordable new car
When I was looking for a new car to replace my very first car I thought about buying another used car but one time I looked though the weekly paper and I saw a new Accent for $6999 advertised I was surprised. I heard the 2000 to present models were 20 times better then the old models I never thought about buying Hyundai due to poor quility of eariler models. But when I test drove it the build quility and ride was soild and quite then the Accent I drove in 1997.I relly liked the two door style better then the four door. The two door has a more attractive front grile and tail lights.Gas milege is great im getting about 30 mpg.
This car is a blast to drive.
I was in the market to replace my worn out, trusty Metro (258k) and frankly was shocked about how it was nearly impossible to get a base model commuter car for less than $13000.00 I looked at Saturn, Honda, Toyota and by the time I added air, cd player, power windows, door locks I was in the neighborhood of $15000.00+ I was pleasantly surprised when I drove the Hyundai Accent GS. The DOHC is smooth and with the 5 speed tranny is really fun to drive. It rides, handles great and air conditioning is a standard feature. So I ended up with GS with the Option 3 package (power windows, mirrors, door locks). Factor in the warranty and it was a no brainer decision. The total cost was $10400.00
Great car your daily needs & for college
My silver accent gl is so nice, i love the gleam of light it makes during a sunny day. A excellent fuel saver and smoothness when driven. I got an great price on it too!! Its packed, I play my CD-Rs in all the time too.
