Used 2002 Hyundai Accent Consumer Reviews
Great Car for the Price
I had this car for about 4 months before it was totaled in an accident (thankfully not my fault). I drove it mainly on my commute to college, and had no problems while I drove it. I got about 30 mpg average. I'm about 6'2", so leg room is a big deal for me, but I never felt cramped in my Accent. In my accident I a man ran a red light in front of me, tearing up the whole front of the car. But I was completely unharmed even though the car was totaled. Overall I really liked my Accent and would recommend it to anyone, if not for the gas mileage, then for the safety.
Great Value
Peppy Car with lots of standard options. Great second car. Great price and warranty. I haven't had any problems with the car so far.

Good daily commuter
Bought this vehicle when gas prices were going up and I didn't feel like feeding the SUV anymore. It was purchased from a dealership and had previously been a rental car. I've now owned it for 2 years and have put about 20K mi on it (roughly 60% city, 40% highway). I have done all the suggested scheduled maintenance, and I can honestly say that the car has been reliable. While it's not thrilling to drive, it makes a great city commuter car for someone on a tight budget.
Great car, and then some.....
This is a great little car. I have put over 40,000 miles on my 2002 Accent GS and have had only one unscheduled service to replace a faulty throttle position sensor. This is incredibly suprising to me considering I race this car at autocross events and have even took the car to a high speed driver's education event at Hallett in Oklahoma! Interior design is VERY good and the seats can accomadate drivers of many differant sizes.
excellent first time buyer car
I have had a lot of fun driving my accent. It is a peppy little thing and gets great gas mileage. I would buy another Hyandi
