Used 2002 Honda S2000 Consumer Reviews
Hardcare sport S2K Great handling....
S2K is so balance 50/50, make the handling so well. It definitely so nice to drive around the coast on HWY1 along the coast in CA. The car produces one the best Horsepower/liter. Think about 240HP in a 2 liter engine. Honda is also great for the engineering on the engine as well as the reliability... As long as you take care the car, it will run forever. Don't forget the VTEC power...
A Modern MG-B
I drove MG's and Triumph's for over 15 years. This S2000 is basically a modern MG-B/Midget (psychologically) with an oversized engine, leather, air conditioning, and vastly improved handling. Oh, by the way it also is ultra-dependable. The British automobile industry would still be in business if they had manufactured anything close to the S2000 (and they fired Lucas, the Prince of Darkness). A lovely car, a joy to drive. A bit tight, badly placed interior storage, acceptable low-end torque, and a horror in the snow. Easily a 9 on a scale of 10 (I've never driven a 10).

right on honda
This is the best and by far the most fun car I have owned and I have owned a lot of cars. You do not drive the s2000 you ride it. It feels more like a bike than a car. I am so impressed that I have traded in my 2000 model for a 2002. Carry on Honda!
little things
Not many miles but some things obvious quickly. Door doesn't open wide enough, makes it hard to get in and out. Several rattles, something I never thought I would say about a Honda. Shift from 1st to 2nd is rough, sometimes almost impossible in the cold. If you get a bumper scratched and need to paint it, good luck, they don't go back on properly again. This is a summer, top down, short drive toy car. Used that way it's a 10. Drive it every day and you may come to hate it.
Kickin' your Butt by 9000 RPM!
The new kid on Hondas block is very much making a statement. A formula one wanna-be is actually close to the real thing. Obvious styling cues have been taken from Honda Racing Division. Not too surprising, considering some of the boys at Honda Racing had a major voice on the engineering aspects of the car. Bottom line... next time ANY type of Mustang pulls next to your S2 at the line, have no fear, S2000 will lead.
