Overall, I'm very fond of this vehicle. Pros are comfortable without power seats and functional for a pickup with large under bed waterproof storage trunk leaving the bed clear for hauling, drives very nice and feels like driving a sturdy SUV. Fixable upgraded #1, i added heated mirrors by swapping the non-heated mirrors with heater elements mirrors, and purchased an aftermarket rear-defogger system which now controls the heated mirrors that i swapped out., Fixable upgrade #2, i swapped out the rear door checks with the HONDA Pilot front door checks, Note: the stock rear doors do not fully open limiting access to the rear seat which folds up for cargo space, so I purchased dealer part for this and now works perfectly! very functional pickup bed with tiedown hooks and spare tire in storage compartment under bed and without wheel humps so sheets of plywood lay flat. Cons with the looks as the rim offset needed to be more like the pilot and closer to the outer edge of the car (i change the rims and stands (looks) much better). It would also be nice if the front end was 3/4" higher giving the truck a better stance rather than looking like a nosedive SUV in the front, and the car tires were not appealing, so i replaced the tires with same size but a little more aggressive tread. The full con is the low towing capacity max at 5k lbs but it's helpful that you can turn off the overdrive when trailer is hooked up, Note, it works well with a bike rack.

Catchy Title!?Built-In Cooler.

Nothing better than the Honda Ridgeline with a built in trunk under the bed that has a drain plug and a lock that has a key. Love The vehicle; Has everything you need and then some. Like using the Trunk for a cooler, and can keep stuff in there without worrying because you can’t see it. But like everyone else that’s reviewed the 2017 Ridgeline is the Touch Screen is clunky to use and No volume knobs. Otherwise I’m Happy. Has enough room for Five adults without complaints. Everyone that has sat in the back likes the rear A/C with their own control and usb charging ports. Black is Nice but as you know it is like a mirror so you have wash a lot. Recommend a hydro-phobic product on the vehicles surface, Helps keeping it clean. Too bad That Honda has discontinued making these. I might just have to try to see if I can trade it in for the New One. 2022. Hard to find and need to have a lot of money. Not cheap or should I say Inexpensive by any means. If you want one you will have to pay for it. At least They hold their Value. Unless Honda starts building them again. 🙃

In bed trunk hite tonneau rails

I have a 2017 RTL and I love it but it`s not perfect. I .have a BAK-FLIP F1 tonneau. My in bed trunk can only open partially because it hits the rails of the tonneau. I love the tonneau but knowing this now I would do my homework and find a top that would give my trunk full clearance. i fixed the rear door opening problem by buying front door closures and replacing the rear ones. I also bought an after market rear view mirror with a digital compass on it. Can`t believe compass didn`t come standard.

Comfortable trucking

Fairly luxurious ride. I would term it a"gentleman's truck". Great storage and utility, the large locking trunk is a game changer. You see so many trucks with tool boxes taking up 1/3 of their bed space and they have to climb in the bed to access it. The Ridgeline tool box is easily accessible thanks to the side opening tailgate. The available tonneau cover easily folds back for open bed cargo and keeps things dry and protected when folded down. I drove a Prius for 4 years previous to this and suffered from a sore tailbone from the seat, since driving the Ridgeline my pain is gone thank you very much. I do miss the 50 mpg and am getting an average after ~1000mi 21.4 mpg. They are having trouble keeping them in stock in my area, Austin TX, but the black painted models are still available. It is a joy to drive if you need a truck.
