Used 2019 Honda Passport Consumer Reviews
5000 miles in with the Sport model
My wife liked the was it looked so we purchased one. At just over $31,000 for the Sport model, I felt it should have had more than a 5 inch center screen. Honda please even an entery level $18,000 Sonata has an 8" screen. Other than the high price the SUV does provide a quite but some what firm ride that all Honda seem to have. The build quality seems tight so do not expect to have any problem with this SUV for 100K. But for just over $31,000, I know I could have dome better but wife wanted it so what are you going to do.

Good Drive, Good Visibility, Missing Some things
We drove the 2019 Honda Passport and passed up the ultra high pressure sales pitch due to some missing technology. The car drives wonderfully, it is balanced and has good visibility. The controls are all in an easy to learn and use space. Leg room for second row is good. We liked that it sat up higher as we live in a rural area with lots of pickup trucks and sitting up higher competes with that. We also liked the climate control for the back seat passengers. What's missing: head up display so you can keep your eyes on the road, electronic brake (not only is the emergency brake manual, it is a foot pedal), adaptive cruise only goes to 20 mpg and is not stop and go, side mirrors do not fold automatically. Being that we are currently driving a 2017 vehicle and are looking for all the same features and 2 row midsized vehicle, we passed up on the Honda Passport. If the 2020 comes out with those improvements, we will reconsider, as we are waiting for some other 2020 vehicles to hit the lots.

2019 Passport is great, with some minor flaws
We have put about 10,000 on our 2019 Passport Touring. It's a great vehicle, and so far we are getting about 21.5 mpg in mixed driving (mostly city). Our 2005 Pilot averaged about 17 mpg, so that's a significant improvement. The automatic engine shutoff at stops really bugged me in a Volvo I rented, but it is almost unnoticeable in the Passport. We have had a couple of instances where we were coming to a stop behind another car, and the Honda Sensing apparently decided we weren't stopping soon enough and SLAMMED on the brakes. Very startling when that happens. But for the most part the system has worked well. Comfortable seats, great power, lots of features. A few minor quibbles: (1) only one "smart" USB jack, which we use to connect a phone for Android Auto. Even my 2016 Accord EXL has two, one of which I use for an iPod, which lets me change tracks from the steering wheel controls; (2) although the car is quiet, the microphone (located on the ceiling just back of the rear-view mirror) apparently has no sound insulation at all, so the road noise if you are on the other end of the call is horrible. Again, my Accord is better; and (3) very few cargo hooks in the back, just one at each corner of the cargo floor. Our 2005 Pilot had upper hooks as well, making it much easier to secure cargo (a propane tank, for example). For a car that cost this much, it's a bit annoying that Honda cheaped out on these little touches.

It was a NO for me
Very Uncomfortable. Traded it after owning it for 6 days. Losing money but worth getting rid of it.
