Used 2007 Honda Fit Consumer Reviews
the Fit is our near-perfect vehicle
After going over the specs and reviews of the Scion xA, xB, Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa and VW Rabbit, the Fit won my wife and I over. I wanted an xB badly, but for the price the Fit had everything I wanted and needed, plus had higher NHTSA safety ratings than the Yaris and xB (my other two choices). We test drove a Toyota Yaris, but found it to be claustrophobic, less functional (space-wise), and cheaper feeling on the inside. After a test drive of a base model AT Fit, we were sold! The cornering and handling of the Fit is amazing, and it really drives like a little go-kart. It has minor issues, but every car does, especially in this segment. =)
like it so far
Bought a new Fit in 2007. So far we've seen an incredible savings in gas: anywhere from 32-38. Zoomy, responsive. Seats are a bit cheap and uncomfortable on long drives. We bring a pillow to sit on. Driver's legroom is not great for tall people. My husband is just 6 feet and needs the pillow to give his legs another few inches. Not many bells and whistles but that's not why we bought it. Very dependable so far. Great cargo space. We have been able to fit a TON of stuff in the back when you put the seats down. We joke that we can "fit" it in any parking space and we can "fit" anything into it. Handled well in the Vermont snow. Backseat is not super roomy but it's not terrible.

So far, so good
I bought my Fit 90 days ago. So far, so good. Its fun to drive and is pretty comfortable. Clearly a step up in the sub compact market. Downers are no arm rests, and small fuel tank. 2 more gallons would make the range awesome. But for now I still have to pull in to fuel more often than I would like. (but it only costs $20 so I don't complain much) If the longevity is up to Honda standards and crash ratings come in high then this will be a very big winner for Honda. No regrets except I can't keep my teenage son out of it.
It's great, but....
I love my Honda Fit. I bought it knowing that the ride was a little bit bumpy. I bought the basic rather than the sport, perhaps the 15 inch wheels would have been better. I started getting great gas mileage but now it dropped considerably. However, that may be a result of having to run the AC on high much of the time. After owning a gas guzzling SUV, it is nice not to have to be running to the gas station all the time. My family of 5 fits fine and I can accept the bumpy ride
For a Honda it rides like a horse buggy
The looks are nice but comfort wise its awful. No middle arm rest, hits hard at bumps, turns are tough. For the money it's expensive.
