Used 2023 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
A fuel efficient hybrid
With 8 months of experience behind the wheel on extended trips, in-city, and overland there is much to like about this compact SUV with a midsize feel. Foremost is the firm, responsive ride, handling winding roads with ease. Steep inclines prove to be a challenge for this engine, yet on the flats it can accelerate sufficiently quickly to keep stress levels in check. In-city driving is where the CRV excels. When I am not heavy on the pedal the electric motor kicks in and with the regenerative braking, I am getting an extra week of driving. Cargo space is the best in its class, something I definitely wanted and it has no trouble with the kayak trailer behind.

Delivery vehicle
I use mine as a mail delivery vehicle and loved the gas milage boost I got over my 2020 CRV. Also with the hybrid system brake wear has been a lot less than the gas version. I have 93,000 on mine now with no issues.

Poor interior quality
10,000 miles. Carpet and floor mat buckling and tearing from attachments. Dealer says they will not replace as the problems are due to design, a poor design to say the least. I wonder what else was designed poorly.

Good candinate but not ready for a Hybrid yet
The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport 2.0 had many checked off items on my list. Large enough rear storage and with the easy enough folding rear seats was even better. Many nice features. moon roof. head room in/out rear and front. simple instrument panel easy to use.no space-age digital keys to enter. But no extra driving lamps due to new body type design. Plus when I tested drive the Hybrid and punched the 2.0 it really reved-up. That was concerning to me. However since I was on a street and unable to test further but only under normal street driving conditions it was excellant for what it was built for. Need to test drive other Manufactures Hybrids with 2.0.L 4cyl gas/electric and evaluate.
Over looked handicapped needs
We love our new CR-V except one requirement was overlooked. The rearview mirror is so thick and bulky it's nearly impossible to hang the handicapped permit which is where you are instructed to do to avoid a.hefty fine when parking in a handicapped spot
DO NOT BUY NEW HONDA CRV
Notes: in winter or in morning put your new car idle running atleast 2 hrs,if you have hammering noise ,return your new car to dealer and do not buy this car New honda crv hav multiple issues: 1) car steering rack failed in first 10000 km 2) back camera screen-change to black and white 3) car have issue with fuel pump in winter,so when u start car ,it create hammer noise in engine because parts not lubrication and it will break your engine and decrease engine life 2) brakes are not good .delay to stop vehicle
