Used 2015 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Unbelievable Vibration
I am not one to complain about small things, but the vibration felt in my new 2015 CR-V detracts from all the other positives in this vehicle! The vibration only occurs once the car is warmed up and is so bad that it makes the sunglasses on my face vibrate! I have never written an online review for anything, but I felt that others should know about this major flaw. If Honda is able to fix this issue, then I would recommend this car. Otherwise, I would not. Hugely disapppointed in this purchase.
Disappointed
I've had my 2015 CRV for a few weeks now, and I'm disappointed. The positives are outweighed by the negatives. As others have stated, the engine is slow to heat up, and the heater is weak and has trouble keeping up in very cold weather. The CVT surges on the highway and suffers from a dead zone between 15-30 MPH. Honda's EPA fuel economy numbers are wildly inflated; expect 22-24 MPG in real world mixed driving. Ride quality on uneven surfaces is poor. The subwoofer is a joke and serves only to check a marketing box. The engine occasionally idles too low, inducing violent vibrations. Recently announced recall may require replacement of engine.

Idle Vibration
I bought the CRV EX AWD a week ago, on the way driving the car back home, I noticed the vibration when I stopped at a traffic light. I went back to the dealer this past Saturday to report the issue, the sale person told me to go back on Monday, so they could take a look. I went back yesterday, he told me he talked to their service manager and they are aware of the issue, but nothing they could do but wait for Honda to release a fix. Before Honda commits a fix for this issue, I would not recommend to buy this car.
Whole lot of shakin' going on!
There are a lot of great things about this car, but there is one showstopper that should prevent you from buying it. When you are idling at a red light, the car vibrates like one of those funny exercise machines from the 40s. It also rattles like you wouldn't believe during acceleration. This is my 6th Honda and my last. Honda admits it's an issue, but don't really have anything encouraging to say about a fix. My brother opted for the Mazda 5 and he is very happy with it. If I could exchange this car today, I would.
Done with Honda
Yes, the SUV vibrates..As the driver, you don't notice too much. But literally 7 out of 7 passengers have said they feel dizzy or a bit sick whenever they are in it. The interior quality is like a Chevy, and that's not a compliment. Hard touch plastic everywhere. Yes, I bought the LX, the base, but I recently traded this for an Ouback, and the Outback is on another level of quality. Before the Outback, I drove the Touring, the top CRV made, it's literally the same quality on the panel, dash, door...Even with leather seats, the rest of the interior is cheap...I'm sure the transmission and engine will last 200,000 miles, but the engine does not work with the car, thus the vibration. And the interior is closer to a toy than a real car. I have owned 11 new Honda's, there will never be a 12th. My last civic was also pretty cheap feeling. I drive 50% on highway, 50% in town, and never got better than 21.6 mpg. The other day was the first day in Oregon we had frost on the window. I turned on the car to warm it up, waited 2, 2.5 minutes for it to warmup a bit, and turned on the defrost, 100% on high...It took 11 additional minutes before I could barely see out of the bottom of the windshield...At 14 minutes, with the help of wipers I could see safely enough to drive.
