I wanted the flexibility and fuel economy of a smaller SUV. I got all that, plus a lot of other things I did not bargain for. The seats are firm and uncomfortable. The driveability is completely uninspiring - I wasn't expecting much and still was disappointed. The in-car audio/hands free system was a complete disaster. Music would start playing halfway through a phone call. People on the other end of the line had great difficulty hearing me through the hands free microphone. My dealer could/would do *nothing* about this. The controls on the steering wheel are not intuitive in the least. The second screen mounted above the main entertainment system is spectacularly useless. Don't ever try to do a thing with the LCD screen while making a right turn because you'll be subjected to the right side mirror mounted cam which serves little if any practical purpose. The headlights are SO bright that you cannot drive this vehicle at night without others flashing their bright lights at you - even when yours are not turned on. I made a huge mistake in purchasing this vehicle and am about to do something I've never done before - turn a car in after less than a year with it.

My father just Bought a 2015 HONDA CRV Touring model which is their highest end. The interioir and exterior design are great. However, the ENGINE FAILED after having it only 3 days. The car was bran new and came off the lot with less than 7 miles on it. We traded in our 2014 CRV which we loved for this new lemon. Now we are fighting for a refund to get our old car back but they are not letting us return it. It has now been 10 days. We noticed vibration in the vehicle at medium speeds (30-50mph) and then some studdering at stop signs and red lights. Turns out there is something wrong with the engine. When we brought the car back they were not surprised, we are not the first to report this

Updating my review. Still would not recommend. Car shutters on acceleration. Also, acceleration seems to be hesitant because of this. Very bothersome entering a highway or speeding back up from a slow-down. Honda sees no problem even though I have paper stating mine is worse than others.

I bought my CRV at the end of Dec. 2014. 2 weeks later I went on my first long ride of about 8 hours roundtrip. A few times while stopped at lights the car began shaking, as soon as I began moving the shaking stopped. Vibration is always there when stopped but this shaking while not always present definitely makes me not recommend anyone buying this car unless Honda gets a fix for it. I wonder what the resale value of this model will be. 31/2 years later: This was my first Honda and will be my last. Honda is happy to put out a product that shacks and vibrates and thinks that it is normal. It isn't notmal for me or for other brands that don't shack. No more Shacking for me in a brand new car. Sold this CRV last month. My first and last vibrating Honda. Shame that they sold this car that vibrates/shakes at idle so much. I will not consider a Honda again. Bought a Subaru outback.

Bought it in 2015, and suffered 2 years of strong vibrations ALL the time while idling. Brought it back to dealer many many times. They had no solution for it. (See class action lawsuit CRV 2015 owners vs. Honda) Finally got rid of it and lost thousands of money but I’m happy it's not mine anymore. Never doing Honda again. Update: On November 2017, I ended up trading in the CRV 2015 and losing thousands of money. I couldn’t handle such strong vibration any longer.
