Disappointed
Purchased 2008 CR-V in the month of May. We are very disappointed with the quality. It vibrates a lot and we can feel it in the steering wheel and seats. As soon the drive stick is put in drive position the whole cabin starts to vibrate. Also, while driving it drifts towards one side. Dealer had taken the vehicle four times for repair but there is no improvement. Filed case with Honda too but they never responded. Honda is known for quality but at least we can't say that after this purchase.
Best SUV for your Money!!
We love the CRV period! Test drove the Ford Escape and the Toyota RAV4. The Honda CRV is very smooth in accelerating, handles the winding roads where we live with ease. The ergonomics inside the CRV are terrific. Love the looks of the exterior. For your money you cannot go wrong with this 4WD, seats are very comfortable, can see out of all areas of the inside cabin, there are no blind spots. You won't regret getting this Honda CRV!

Not bad for the money
The car runs good, it just sounds cheap. When you close the doors it sounds hollow and lot or road noise

Love my CRV
We have had our CRV for about 9 months and just love it! I love the gas mileage -- I average in town 23-24 and my best mpg on the highway has been 30! Handles nicely in the snow/ice, and I feel very safe in it. It is a good size for me, and still sporty enough for my husband. And there is plenty of room in the backseat for passengers! I could go on and on! A + rating!
OK, but the 03 was better I think
I owned an 03 CRV EX, I bought the 08 model. Other than the turning radius which the CRV, and more stability with strong winds and rain, there's not much comparison. I loved my old CRV way better. First, the new CRV struggles with acceleration worse than the old one. The 6 cd changer is placed on the cup holders between the front seats and the cd holders look like old sandwich boxes. And this structure is permanently attached that if you drop something on its sides, makes for difficult cleaning. There is less head/leg room. Side mirror adjustments were moved. Trunk space is less. No picnic table. The tires gave at 30K miles. So loud too.
