Luv, luv my CRV
I bought my CRV on Oct. 2007, model 2008, brand new to the dealer and as of now I never have a problem. I change the break pads 6 months ago and change new tires 2 yrs ago. I would consider my CRV a gas saver. The only thing I don't like, after I paid off,the bank sent me my title the dealer Fletcher Jones made a mistake, well this has nothing to do with the car but I'm not happy because my title stated used car and the current mileage not the mileage when I bought the car.
Sweet!
I bought this car because my older VW was getting to be a pain to fix all the time. I figured I needed a 4x4 for the winter, and I needed the extra room as our civic is a little tight on long trips. This is my first CR-V and I love it. The drive is smoother, the interior is nice, and the fuel economy is up there. I read others who were complaining about things missing that I have on my EX-L. I have only driven the car 500 miles so far, but they've been flawless so far. I will be taking my annual trip to NC this summer which is around 2000 miles round trip. I look forward to it.

Its ok
Bought the CRV. Wife wanted it. We got the 4cyl 2wd with a sunroof, black on tan cloth. Got such a good deal on it new. She is 5ft 6in or so, and its perfect size for her. Iam 6ft 5in, and cant stand to drive it, its too small for me. We have had it for almost 2 years, and put almost 10,000 miles on it. The motor is loud, it sounds like the motor in my 150,000 mile old cavalier. The air bag light flashes about every two weeks, but the dealership cant find a code of it. When its below freezing, it seems the battery is weak, as the motor spins slow on start up, but has never failed to start. If your under 6ft, it be a good choice for you, I love the black exterior on light tan interior color
Critics Thoughts
This is an all around great car. There are a few things missing that really surprised me coming from Honda. First the fuel economy around town is between 15 and 16 MPG rated 22 mpg. The car is driven mainly by my wife albeit on short trips but nothing exceptionally dramatic. The highway mileage is right on the rating, 25 mpg to 30 mpg. The lack of a center console and just a shelf is annoying. The arm rest on the front seats, useless, way to small. The telescoping and adjustable steering wheel no help for a long legged person trying to enter when the wife leaves the seat forward. The sun visors are to short turned to the side windows. I would recommend the car all in all a great car.
Fun Little Pug!
This is a fun little SUV, even though I can see some improvements. Note: I call it the Pug, because it's like an English Bull Dog. I drive this thing all over the Mojave (in So Cal) and it has survived my driving with few complaints. I did have a dead battery (that was covered under warranty) and I have had to replace the tires (after only 30,000 Miles). I have the leather seats and I have noticed some cracking on some of the vinyl side panels. Gas mileage has been an average 26 Miles per gallon. The Navi is useful, but has room for software improvements. I have added goodyear fortera tripletred tires, and after an alignment, got the best ride I've ever got in a Honda. But at $1k, I should have!
