I HATE THIS CAR!!!
I hate this car and this has been the worst car buying experience ever. My first car note and I'm so unhappy. This was my first "supposedly new" Honda. I had two in the past that were excellent. The brakes are bad, bad, bad!!! I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone!!! I participated in the class action law suit and received a refunds after having brakes changed four times. I purchased my car in March 2009 and I've spent entirely too much time the dealership and of course, brakes are not covered under the warranty. I'm so disappointed with this car and would like something else.
09 Accord Coupe V6 6 Speed /Navi
After lots of searching and test drives (Acura TL & TSX, and BMW 3), I ordered a 2009 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 6 Speed Manual with Navigation. I wanted the unbelievably gorgeous Belize Blue Pearl and thus the order. Car is everything I expected. The V6 6 Speed combination is a blast. The interior controls are EASY despite the reviews. The car drives and handles almost as well as a BMW 3 series coupe for $20k less. I think it looks better too. I have been stopped in parking lots and asked "who makes that?" & "is that really a Honda?" The Blue pearl paint simply glows.

Could use interior design improvements
Drives and handles well. The TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light came on the second day I had the car and no matter how I tweak the tire pressure it won't go off (common problem). I assume this may have something to do with side airbags but the sun visors are poorly designed & are not long enough on both the right and left sides leaving gaps for sun glare. The center stereo console is too big & you need pretty long arms to reach the right side buttons comfortably. It's like they just made the buttons bigger and spaced them out to fill up space. The steering wheel has cheap plastic silver pieces in the center that I cannot believe they used. Plastic wheel covers are very cheap.
Still going strong with almost 120,000 miles
I stand by my original review. This car has been very reliable with little to no trouble at all in 90,000+ miles since we've owned it. Brakes, oil changes, a battery and tires is pretty much all we've done to it in 6 years. Oh...and a tune-up (plugs, wires and an air filter). We would buy another Honda Accord tomorrow and highly recommend.

Current Accord, Not your typical Honda
As a long time owner of Hondas and Acuras, this car has been a great disappointment. Within the first year of ownership we have had to take it in to the dealer 9 times for repairs (not including the scheduled maintenance). Seven of the nine times related to interior parts, including the driver side sun visor spontaneously falling off and dangling in front of the driver. Two of the repairs were on the brakes. Honda is involved in a class action law suit regarding the rear break issue (Google it). The front brakes also had to be replaced this is a separate known issue for which there is a service bulletin. Ask the dealer about the break issues before purchasing this vehicle, I wish I did.
