Very Good Vehical
I purchased this truck new and it has been on of the vehicals I have had. With the exception of a few minor repairs and adjustments, when the truck was new, I have only had to replace the alternator on it. The vehical is a tight and handles almost as good as it did when I got it. It has been very rekiable and dependable.
GMS 1995 Jimmy 4x4 SUV
After our first purchase of a GMC product, we will NEVER AGAIN purchase a GMC auto. This has been the WORST auto ever for us. Many recalls on it.

Nice Ride Albeit Thirsty
Some rattles, the doors move in their openings, fuel efficiency is dropping fairly from 7.88 kilometers per liter when bought to 6.54 kpl today. A/C repair was costly and the compressor is still making noices. Right turn signal gets stuck. The under carriage is not protected and vital components are low.
I learned to drive in this thing!
The Jimmy runs and idles smoothly. When in a fender-bender, the Jimmy was driven away with nothing more than a bent exhaust pipe and a dent and scratch about three inches in diameter on its back bumper while the other vehicle was basically totaled; the owner was not able to drive away. The only real problems Ive ever had were that the microchip which controls things like the windshield wipers burns out rather easily, and the transmission recently had to be replaced completely.
Problems
Fuel injector poppets $600 repair at 60K miles, Fuel Pump, A/C compressor x2, power door locks, $200 EGR valve x2, Transmission dump at 110k, never towed anything, perfect oil change schedule, good regular maintenance schedule. This vehicle has inherent problems not due to owner abuse! BUYER BEWARE!
