Blind Spot | Edmunds.com

Blind Spot

The area behind and to the side of a vehicle that is hard to see in either the side or rear view mirrors. Properly adjusted side mirrors can eliminate, or reduce the size, of many blind spots. Most manufacturers also offer Blind Spot Detection systems that use radar to scan the obscured area and warn the driver with either audible or visible warnings.
