This truck is practical as a work vehicle and fun to drive. It has sufficient power for almost all needs. The stereo system is great as is the air conditoner. I suggest the auto trans, it is smooth. If the additonal price is no object, I would suggest the extended cab for more ease. All in all, I love my truck.

i have the 4.o liter auto. with a gear ratio in the rear end for towing. this is a great combo. Great power and get up and go. Interior is very well thought out and fits my 6'-3'' frame very well with room to spare.

So far 26,000 miles, and no mechanical problems except for a emission sensor which was covered under warrenty. Problems: should have a bigger gas tank. M/G could always be better (18 to 19 typically). Plenty of power for hualing my heavy boat.
