THIS IS AN AMERICAN CAR?

I have owned this vehicle for a little over a week. I can't believe this is an American car! The craftsmanship, build quality and ride quality rival European sedans costing much, much more. The fuel economy for this class vehicle has no match. So far my Fusion is averaging 42.5 MPG based on mostly city stop-n-go driving. Much more car for the money than Toyota, Nissan or Honda. It is very exciting to see a product like this come from a US automaker. Ford has a winner in my opinion!

This engineering marvel is intelligently designed, fun to drive, and comfortable for my six foot frame. Since I do lots of city driving, the hybrid gives me 40+ miles to the gallon. I purchased a two year extension on the bumper to bumper warranty, and therefore plan to put the Fusion (my first Ford ever) thru a lot of work. One possible concern is how well this hybrid will hold up in the super cold Illinois winter.

Mileage numbers not valid here. Does do 3x better than 8 Cyl Jag S in city traffic using reg gas rather than Hi- test. Will probably never make up price differential in my lifetime even if I keep the car for 10 years, but feel I'm making a small contribution by using less carbon fuel

I have previously owned Toyotas- Corolla, Camry, and 4 Runner. I thought I would remain a Toyota loyalist until I test drove the Ford Fusion Hybrid. I haven't had it a full month yet, but I already average 38-40 MPG. I commute mostly highway and experience both great gas mileage and comfort. I never thought I would say I like an American car better than I liked my imports. You did it, Ford!!! Great job and continued success.

My wife and I have had the car for about a month and half. No problems whatsoever. Car drives smooth and extremely quite. I honestly feel like I'm in a luxury car. We are very impressed w/what Ford has come out with. This is our first American car and we are very happy w/the decision we made. I really hope Ford builds on this generation of technology. We drove the Honda Insight imagine the handles like that of a beat up shopping cart at the market. You pay for what you get. Prius was nice and all but looks like a bad laboratory accident. I will say this MPG on 2010 Prius is better but it’s not a sedan. The Fusion Hybrid looks like a normal car. Congratz Ford on a job well done.
