Ford Explorer Sport Trac
This vehicle was purchased to tow small trailers and it performs fine. Gas mileage is not acceptable as it is well below the advertised sticker quote. Workmanship is poor. Have had problems from paint and loose body parts to major mechanical problems. All were promptly taken care of by the dealer, but some are reoccurring and the vehicle is no longer under warranty.
Fun To Drive
During summer enjoy rolling rear window down, open sun roof, feels very open. Negative is poor gas mileage. Have over 90,000 miles on it; had to replace A/C & front end parts. When in 2WD in rain or snow it gets pretty scary without weight. 4WD has a ghost, turns on and off by itself. Nice looking truck though. Bought 100,000 mile warranty; haven't spent much on repairs because of that.

NOISEY!!!!!!!
Deafening wind noise. NO turning radius. NOISEY Suspension. Poor Excelleration BUY a truck if you want a truck. Buy an SUV if you want an SUV. POOR DESIGN all over!!!!!!!
Noise and brakes
Wind noise on drivers side is loud and the dealer has "tried" to fix it two times. The front end makes a loud sweaking noise when I turn the wheels hard to make a U turn. If I open the back window I hear a lot a sweaking from the rear bed. at 17,000 the brakes are making a swealing noise and in they need to be changed
JUNK
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS IS A TRULY PIECE OF JUNK. TRANSMISSION WENT OUT WITHIN THE FIRST 5,OOO MILES. OXYGEN SENSOR WENT OUT TWICE. REAR AXLE HAD TO BE REPLACE AFTER 20,000 MILES. VERY LOW QUALITY INTERIOR TRIM. PROBLEMS WITH HOOD, SEATS, TIRES, SUSPENSION, BRAKES LOTS OF NOISE, BAD GAS MILEAGE, NO POWER.
