I bought this van with 45,000 miles. I get 18-20 MPG as long as I drive under 70 miles per hour. On one tank I got 21 MPG, but that was with driving speeds under 60 miles per hour and little stop and go driving. Many reviews state that the V6 is under powered. The V6 is a work truck engine and is not a sports car engine. Its got plenty of power for the weight rating, just don't expect rapid acceleration. Th van hauls a lot of stuff. If you baby these vans, they will last. I change fluids often. It runs great and very dependable. I now have put 11,000 miles on the van without a single problem. I paid 3 times less than a used Dodge Sprinter...same utility and the same mileage.

Great ride! Getting 13.94mpg at 250K+ miles and only after that point did I replace the starter, radio, blower motor (probably because I run it full-blast all the time), and the battery for only the second time since new. It does also need a windshield which I hear don't last long, and there are things that are showing wear. HOWEVER, it has run smooth since day one and the big stuff is durable. The stuff that has been replaced is cheap and EASY to replace which is important because it'll save you labor at the mechanic shop. I'm looking to buy a second one now because I like this one so much. UPDATE: 9.9.21: 278K miles, still runs silky smooth. UPDATE: 3.12.22: 292K miles and climbing, no issues. UPDATE: 9.14.22: 302K miles, driven daily, no issues. UPDATE: 3.18.24: 334K miles, lots of small wear issues came up that were repaired or replaced but the drive train is still solid and original. Runs great.

I find the Ford E-350SD Cargo Van both practical and effective. While it's used mostly for business, I also use it to transport my dogs. It's stable on the road, even at high speeds, and turns quite easily. Ford really Has a Better Idea.
