Job

Van - Tastic
Great ride! Getting 13.94mpg at 250K+ miles and only after that point did I replace the starter, radio, blower motor (probably because I run it full-blast all the time), and the battery for only the second time since new. It does also need a windshield which I hear don't last long, and there are things that are showing wear. HOWEVER, it has run smooth since day one and the big stuff is durable. The stuff that has been replaced is cheap and EASY to replace which is important because it'll save you labor at the mechanic shop. I'm looking to buy a second one now because I like this one so much. UPDATE: 9.9.21: 278K miles, still runs silky smooth. UPDATE: 3.12.22: 292K miles and climbing, no issues. UPDATE: 9.14.22: 302K miles, driven daily, no issues. UPDATE: 3.18.24: 334K miles, lots of small wear issues came up that were repaired or replaced but the drive train is still solid and original. Runs great.

I have had this van for almost 3 years and have used it for business as a independant contractor for a major delivery co. I've put on 131k on it and I'm not sure if the engine is broken in yet.The v-10 has tons of power and the mpg is as good as the v6 vans.
2001 Ford E150
Best work van I have ever owned! 110,000 miles and have only replaced the brakes and tires. Excellent power, comfortable ride and overall excellent quality. It's January 2005 and this baby runs just as good as it did when I bought it. I'm am going to buy another one.
Excellent while it lasted
I purchased a 2004 E250 Cargo van in 2006 when I began my mobile automotive repair business. It had 29K miles when I bought it. I used it daily and it was very reliable. 3 years of hard driving and it only needed brakes, oil changes, wiper blades and a drive belt. Unfortunately, I was involved in a head on collision and the van was totaled with 60K miles. I walked away from the accident with a broken bone in my foot, and torn ligaments as well, but otherwise intact. They are great vans and I highly recommend them and a bulkhead if you are carrying tools.
