Best mini van we had
Honestly I can’t say anything bad about the T&C!!! It served our family for 11 years with very minimal issues and most of the issues were in the last year. So after 11 years and 175k miles I really can’t complain other than we weren’t able to keep it to at least 200k. Now all the problems in the last year were minor issues but wife was ready to upgrade and we traded in for something else. Overall a very good family vehicle, maintenance is key in any vehicle.

I Really Enjoy This Mini Van!
Bought this used with 34k on it. Now has 196k. AC went out and now looking to get a new vehicle. Water Pump went out at 134K ($1200) to replace. Problems with starting car at 175k (replaced starter) and brakes wear out ever 25k (big vehicle to stop). Problem with lift gate and back window just shattered on a cold day here in Texas! Thinking of buying again, but, really dont need now that kids are grown!

Nice but drives like a boat
The handling is terrible compared to other minivans - very soft and can feel unsafe at times. The "integrated" fuel pump relays tend to fail and can't be individually replaced, but can be bypassed at the fuse box. Otherwise they are nice vehicles.

Severe Brake Issues - This is a dangerous vehicle
Purchased a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country Limited Edition back in Aug of 2011. At around 20k miles we noticed that the vehicle would shudder and the steering wheel would shake when applying the brakes. It seemed to be worse when going down hill. Initially we thought it was the anti-lock brake system, but it became much worse over time. Took it into the dealer and they said all 4 rotors were warped and need to be replaced at $800+. When I asked if they would cover under warranty they denied me. Took the vehicle to another shop and they noticed the chrome on the rims was burnt off from excessive heat. Also said the calipers are locking up. Chrysler refuses to replace the rotors.
