Have been looking at this model, as well as the BMW Z4 and the 350Z, for several months. The Crossfire has the best value, with all the great rebates offered by Chrysler. Having lots of fun driving, no problems so far, looks great, and look forward to driving this car each day.

Better than the SLK

Having owned both cars, I feel that I can accurately state that the Crossfire is an amazing deal. It has sexy lines, and is a very rare car. This car turns heads everywhere. The are two flaws. It could use a little extra horsepower, and Chrysler RUINED an excellent Mercedes designed CUP HOLDER, by raising the Air conditioning vent. This was absolutely ridiculous. The cup holder in the SLK was perfect, hidden and could hold to big cups. Chrysler engineers elected to get rid of it. HUGE MISTAKE. It is a huge detail when you have had both cars, and had the better cup holder in the SLK. However, I would still get this car again.

Look up 'Refined' in the dictionary and you'll see Crossfire's picture. This is fully Mercedes and one of their better models. I love to drive and be seen in this beauty. It is a great cruiser with a comfortable ride at 80. The engine is smooth throughout the rpm range. Tiptronic tranny is not good: it is perfect. Tires hold the road is the tightest turns. Fun to drive and fun to find value without overspending. This car is a winner!

I find this vehicle to be a very solid, good handling car. The six speed manual transmission is great and the clutch is smooth. I am confident that the vehicle is well built and after putting 7000 miles and owning for 6mths, driving everyday, the car has had virtually know problems.

This car is fun to drive and I have actually had people follow me until I come to a stop requesting to know what kind of vehicle it is and asking to see it. The vehicle handles well and I feel very safe in it. Even on Mountain roads. For a convertible, with the top up the visability is better than I had expected. The ride is quieter than my other car which is a sedan.

The Crossfire is one beautiful car. I think the design is one of the best ever. I had narrowed by search down to a Crossfire, Thunderbird, or Corvette, but after driving the Thunderbird and pricing the Corvette, the Crossfire was the best choice for driving experience and price. I am happy with my decision. The Crossfire is well built, comfortable, and has a Mercedes feel. No Blah Blah here!

I purchased the crossfire in mid july 2004 and have been having a blast with it ever since. Everything from the body styling to the interior to the suspension is hot on this model. The only thing that would be better about it is, they could stand to put some more horses in her. But current horsepower isnt any slouch though.

Really a fun car to drive. Love everything about it except the cup holder and the fact that I can't put my golf clubs in the trunk. Took a long top-down road trip on a curvy road and it was the greatest fun. I tested the BMW Z4 before deciding on the Crossfire which is quieter and has a more gentle ride. Not comfortable driving in the snow, but that was expected, use my SUV for that purpose.

Great design. Just about every time it's on the road it get looks, thumbs up and even stopped by people who want to see it. It even appeals to the 60 and over people including women who say "My husband has to buy me one of those." After driving this for 4 months we sold the Porsche. Have a Roadster on order.

Sure is nice to have a car with torque, 2 A4's, turbo 4 w/ quattro, great cars, but no acceleration 0-30. Bought a roadster, can't wait for warm weather to drop the top. Room for more ammenities, but that would just drive up the cost. My wife's RX-8 has it beat for handling, but this car is more for cruising, with the top down.

I feel that the Crossfire is one of the Best built cars on the road today. It is solid, well built, everything matches up, nothing miss aligned. It handles the road like no other. The only thing they could have done to make it better, is to make a little more room for us tall people. I am 6'3" and it is a little close.

I bought this car after looking at many others such as Mustang GT, G35, 350Z, Audi TT and M-B SLK. The Crossfire is a far more interesting vehicle and reminds me of nothing else out there is bland car land. Only the TT has as much chararcter. It may not be as fast as some of the others, but it has other amazing qualities. I love the look, the ride and the fact that it is not one of 160,000 sold. Quality is amazing since the "donor" was an excellent car to begin with. However, the main reason to buy a car such as the Crossfire is the way it looks. This car looks better than many exotics costing 4 times as much. I love this car and it was flawless in the 15 day Florida trip I took it on!

After approx 4k miles I can say that I am very happy that I purchased this car. The features are great, the ride is styling and the value is unbeatable. A couple of minor items are 1 or 2 more DC connections, radio could be more straightforward to use and a Sirius option would be nice, a spare or ride flat tires and finally some better after market stuff from MOPAR.

My wife bought one, I negotiated the price. I can't tell you how much fun this car is. I get so many compliments, I think I am driving a $100k car. The roadhandling qualities are European of course and are very accurate. The overall design makes me think I am driving an Aston Martin. People stare at the car every where we go in awe. I haven't had so much fun in a long time. The overall quality feels very good. No problems to report so far. Solid metal panels, smooth Mercedes engine and transmission. I test drove other two seaters and for the money I feel I got the most car.

I bought mine as my daily commuter and it works well for that -- fun to drive, reasonably efficient (for a luxury sport car) and, well, it's damned fun to drive! People taller than 6'1" will probably not be comfortable in this car (I'm that and the top of my head just barely rubs the headliner from time to time). Fit and finish are superb as you would expect from the germans and the drivetrain is smooth (Contrary to most reviews, I find the 6-speed manual easy to get along with). Manners at speed are excellent! Interior needs improvement -- chrome plated plastic has to go and the cup holder stinks. Overall a great, fun car and I wouldn't trade it for anything but the ragtop version!

Owning one is like being a celebrity. I've owned my Black Crossfire for four months and I'm still not used to all the attention I get when I'm driving it. I've had people stop me in parking lots and ask about it. I've had a man pull up next to me at a stop light and ask " How much fun is it to drive that?" My answer "It's like driving a rocket ship" My wife has a new Black Mustang GT Convertible and I get four times the comments she does. My Golf clubs fit just fine...once you learn how to get them in. I even got two sets of clubs in. The GPS Navigation System is like having an Automatic Pilot, works like a charm.

I've had my Crossfire Convertible for 13 months and I love it. I got the first one delivered to the dealer. It's been dependable, fun to drive, and it definitely turns heads. In that time, I have only seen one other on the road, and I like that exclusiveness. I've seen about 10 coupes in the same period. The car is beautiful, especially with the top down. I would like a little more horsepower, but I would still choose this car over the 350Z, Z4, or S2000. I did have a transmission leak after only 3 months, but the dealer took care of that and its been fine since. (I just might have been driving it too hard!)

This car has been a pleasure to drive for me. The convertible top goes down with ease and looks stylish in the process. The way you can switch over from automatic to stick shift is also nice for those tight situations. The heated seats work so fast, that is a huge plus! I also received a complimentary Chrysler 3 piece luggage set that fits perfectly in my trunk (it is so cute, the wheels on the luggage are just like my actual car wheels, all chrome and shiny).
