The Good and the Bad

Like the Hemi power and the smooth transmission. Do not like the rattles. I have a very bad dash rattle, drivers side that I can't seem to get rid of. The sunroof shade rattles if it is open. Also have several electrical gremlims. Auto up window sometimes does not work, rear window would not work one time, auto locks did not lock.

After driving a sports coupe with FWD for the past 5 years I found the return to RWD to be a real pleasure. I'm fortunate enought not to live where snow can be a concern but from what I've read, this car's weight distribution still makes RWD practical for even the snow belt. I also enjoy sitting up for a change as opposed to practically sitting on the floor of the cabin!

First, to the nay-sayers: you ALL know that NOTHING can touch this car for the price. The feeling you get from driving it ALONE is worth the price. Finally the opportunity was made available for average joes to recieve a little extra respect. It doesn't matter how much of a square you may be, this car will make you appear to be the most cool, together person around. The bad news is this car is such a joy to drive, you won't notice all the looks and attention you'll be getting!!! Even on the mean streets and freeways of California, this car is literally able to make unmanageable traffic a thing of the past. If you think it, it will be done. The car seriously borders on the intuitive. No joke.

Overall, I have to say my 300C dollar for dollar is one of the most fun to drive value. And I have achieved over 26 mpg on the highway cruising at 70+ miles per hour. Spacious with power to spare - and it still gets compliments everywhere I go. The only drawback is interior could have been done a little better. When I my lease is up I'll probably buy this or get a new one!!!

Good interstate driver. Like the handling on secondary roads. Good cornering. Car feels balanced but I know that the car is front end heavy. Power when I need it but the nav system will get you lost. Left rear power window quit working.

I recently purchased my "HEMI" 300 because of all the HYPE. Having traded my GS430 Lexus I am sorry I made the switch. The power is incredible but the ride and road noise is horrible. The transmission is 'notchy'not shifting at the right speed, lots of reving. The interior is very cheap and poor fitting plastic. The seats do not offer the support needed when putting the pedal down on corning. It is still an sluggish 'american ride' Now the worst...High Test gas the best i could get is 200 miles on a tank. Come on American , you can do better than that. I am trading in on a new Limited Avalon.not the power but so much better overall,

This car is beautiful. We get a lot of people stopping us to take a look at it. It runs nice and smooth. It has all the luxury you can ask for at an afforable price. We are always on the road traveling somewhere and this car is very dependable. We do put on quite a few miles each year. We have all the goodies that you can ask for. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who wants to feel safe and comfortable. It is like a dream to drive. Chrysler has really done a great job in the past 5-6 yrs with there cars, especially the style. Keep up the good work.

This is a very stylish car that gets comments from everyone! It is a huge attention grabber. Unfortunately, I drive 35,000 miles a year and spend a lot of time in it. The cloth seats are miserable - very stiff. The two cup holders are small in front. With a baby car seat in back, the back seat has no cup holders at all. The check engine light comes on if the gas cap is not sealed 100% per the dealer. The six disc CD and stereo are very nice. I would not buy the base model car if given a choice.

I have owned 27 different cars in the past 45 years. All of them have been American cars (at least in name). I have had my 2005 300C for 7 months and I still get a big smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. This car is amazing. I love everything about it, especially the Hemi. Years ago I owned cars with powerful engins, but nothing compares to this Hemi. Combining the power with the stability control and the suspension, transmission and brakeing system makes it a car worth thousands more than the sticker price. I constantly get compliments about the exterior looks. I get about 18MPG on my daily driving and about 24 on the highway).

The HEMI engine seems to have loads of endless power on demand, and sounds great too. Chrysler recomends 89 octane fuel in the HEMI, and since purchasing this car I have averaged about 18mpg. This is about the same gas mileage I achieved in my V-6 Sebring Coupe before I traded it in! This car has a solid well put together feel to it on the inside and out, and turns heads wherever I go. In my opinion there is no other car on the market that comes close to matching the value Chrysler gives you with the $35,000 dollar(average priced)300C! Last time I checked Acura didn't have any V-8 powered sedans and the cheapest V-8 powered Cadillac or Lexus sedans have a $50,000 dollar starting price.

I love the car. It has a few interior flaws that i am unhappy with. The dash has a gap that the dealer couldn't fix. The carpet is coming untucked on passenger side.I agree with that the air conditioning is weak. The car is sooo eye catching! I have mine on 22's and tinted the windows. Every time I drive it people stare. I have people ask me what it is all the time! The Exterior is a 10.

Fun to drive, but in the month I've owned its been in for service twice. Brakes made horrible noise, took it in and was told there was a service notice re the brakes. Pads were replaced under warranty. One week later, same problem. Took the car in again and was told that chrysler wouldn't do anything about the problem and I'd have to live with it. Ashtray has also broken twice. Driver window auto-up has to be fixed. Splash guard under the front spoiler fell off on the highway and Chrysler wouldn't replace under warranty because I didn't stop the car on the interstate and go back to pick up the pieces after they fell off.

I think it is one well-built car and definitely a great value for the money. It has plenty of power when needed and when driven sensibly gets great gas mileage for a 4000 lb.vehicle. It is by far the best Chrysler vehicle I have ever owned, and I have been buying Chrysler products since 1972.The paint and fit and finish were outstanding. Definitely a big winner in my book.

The SRT8 Chrysler is the epitome of style, quality, performance, safety, value, design and excitement. We took it to Statesboro,Ga last week from Delray, Beach, Florida to the annual family reunion. It was a huge hit, With EVERYBODY! The ride up and back (500 miles one way) was effortless. I took my wife, my two sons, 20 and 22 with us. It stops on a dime very safely. My other cars are Mercedes 300 TD, BMW M series Roadster and Miata. It was like all four put togther, but better. It is truly an amazing vehicle. A definite winner.

I'm 6'5" and never thought of buying a car. I always drove trucks and SUVs. One day a car service was using this car and I was in the back seat as a passenger. I couldn't believe the room. A few weeks later, I test drove it and I have more room in the front seat than I did in my Expedition. The price/performance ratio for this car is insanely attractive. More HP, all the internal features, Mercedes styling and suspension for 30%-40% off other luxury vehicles. I couldn't pass it up. My wife made me a happy man this Xmas!

I have driven $70k cars and this one ranks right there with them. Dealership left alot to be desired. Vehicle is as smooth as one could dream of. I am not getting anywhere near the mialage they say I should and I am not pushing this car. I am averaging 16.9 and I drive 50 miles a day on the highway with light city. My concord was 22.5 all day long! Some items seam cheaper then I would have liked. Chrome rims almost feel plastic, definitely do not feel like alloys. I think they are just plated. Does not show instant MPG, always was my fav. feature of the chrysler. Not an option on this one. Visor mirrors are that of a base cavalier. All in all, it is the best car I have ever owned. FAST!!!!

I have had my 300c for six months now and love it. I have not seen any other car on the road that I would rather be driving (In the $40,000 price range). The hemi offers power and the exterior design is a thing of beauty. It has a roomy interior for people that are tall and/or have big bones. The navigation system and wood grain options are both big pluses. Passengers are treated with a roomy back seat. As long as I do not have mechanical problems I can see myself driving this car for a very long time. Overall this car is a hoot to drive and with the bold design expect to turn a few heads, especially if you pimp it out after market.

I didn't like this car at 1st sight but after driving it and being around it (i had 3 of them in my rental car fleet in the last year but all were base 300's with 6 cylinders) it has more than impressed me. I owned a 1999 and a 2002 300m both of which my wife and i loved. This car is just so different that it took some time to get used to. We really like the interior and gage design they are very easy to see and read. Also chrysler finally lit up the cruise control and radio controls on the steering wheel. That was one thing i didn't like about the 300m's they was hard to use them at night.

I'm parting ways with my SRT8 after almost 2 years. My employer is putting us back in company cars. It has been the most enjoyable car I have ever owned. From the day I drove it home I got thumbs up signs from drivers on the highway, people still walk over to talk about it when I'm gassing it up, I've owned Mercedes E class, Audi A6's and various other not so exotic cars but this car has been the best. I average 18 around town, get 21-22 on the hwy, never had a mechanical issue, original brakes, only second set of tires, we live in Minnesota and the traction/stability system kept us on track in the worst weather. Love the U Connect, the Navi, I have had some tickets too, its fast!

Very stylish and comfortable. I bought my 2006 300 Limited in May of 2005. Loaded pretty well. I get about 19 MPG, for its size, thats not too bad. Mine is black pearl coat which really sparkles in the sun. Get lots of compliments from strangers. Of course the exterior is showy and stylish but so is the interior. Not sure why a couple of the reviews I have read do not agree. This car handles well and rides great. Back seat is roomy and comfortable. A couple of my friends drive Lincolns and they always insist on taking my car when we go places together. They love the style and are planning to purchase their own.

If you grew up in the 60's as I did then this is the ultimate driving machine. The SRT8 is truly a new age muscle car. Recent trip from Columbia, SC to Lewisville, IN 1404 mile round trip. The SRT8 was great, handling through the turns couldn't be better, and the power is fantastic. Averaged 20 mpg. Not bad for this much horse power. Purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300C last June the 340 hp was okay, but the SRT8 425 is awesome!

I'm 7 feet tall and this is one of the few cars I fit in. Get a clue, GM and Ford!

I love my 2006 Chrysler 300L! It is beautiful to look at, so comfortable to ride in and the highway mileage can't be beat. When traveling over 50 mph on the road, put it in cruise. Chrysler has built in a mechanism that shifts my vehicle from a 6 cylinder to a 4 cylinder and I get 460 miles to the tank! The only complaint I have is that the engine is kinda loud for a luxury car. But it definitely has POWER and COMFORT. I love, love, love my beautiful car! Silvia, El Paso, TX
