Do People Really Test Drive These Cars
Since its just the two of us interior is ok. Dash easy to read, front end hard to tell where that's why you notice other cars crunched. Mirrors are limited have to double check. Road noise is like driving with windows down you can hear everything like the Kia Rio they loaned us. The turbulence of mirrors is annoying and in a head wind drowns out radio. GM has known about this since 2014 did not fix till now on all 2016 models. With 7800 miles already have loss in power does not roll over hills as easy. Dealer say everything normal we only notice since we`ve driven from start. I`m glad they got rid in eco system nothing like sitting in 110 degrees and it shuts off takes more power to cool down. Checked out 2016 can not believe this is there car of year less options than 2015.

Very pleasantly surprised
I have now 172,000 miles on my Malibu. I have changed the tires twice as the original factory tires lasted me 80,000 miles I replaced the front left axel for $300 and put in a new battery. Haven’t spent a dime outside of that in nearly four years aside from regular maintenance. I’ve not had the very expensive service just the regular oil changes. I have abused this car and still it runs like a perfect machine. It is quite Road noisy at speed. The seats aren’t the MOST comfortable but cloth seats never are and I’ve had back surgery but getting in and out for me is easy. The no spare tire is a pain unless it’s a leak but I needed roadside assistance for a blown tire On Star is magnificent and the best thing GM have ever done I love this car. Not deeply as it has faults but that engine and transmission is amazing

Good basic sedan, but not a top choice...
24000 miles on my 2015 Malibu LS company car so far. GM has made many improvements over the years. My 2009 Malibu was not a reliable car. For a good, basic family sedan, the 2015 Malibu is a decent choice. It's fairly comfortable. Acceleration is good. Gas mileage running about 29mpg avg so far. Exterior looks great and the new standard aluminum wheels are nice. Paint is nice as well. Much improved over older GM quality. Modest handling. FM reception terrible. Rear view is awful. Many blind spots. Suspension is poor in that the car is "busy" constantly moving around on it's suspension while driving. You may not notice this unless you have other cars in the family to compare it to. But, when I hop into my 2013 Mazda after driving the Malibu, it's night & day better, smoother, etc. So in summary the Malibu is a decent car unless you just happen to test drive a Honda Accord, Mazda 6, Passat, or Nissan Altima (among others). I would recommend any of those over this car if it was my own money on the line. (This is a fleet car for me)

Love this car!
So I've only had this vehicle a couple months and I absolutely love it! I was looking for something mid sized and decent on gas and I drove the Malibu and I really like it. The ride is decent the road noise is acceptable . I really think GM did a good job on the 2015 Malibu. I just feels tight and rattle free. The driver seat is probably one of the most comfortable cars that I have owned and a very long time period I am 6' 0" and I weigh 230 pounds. My only complaint is the oil Pan top seal has a very small leak which is about and $1100 repair. The car had 49000 miles on it when I bought it. I like the car so much I will keep it then have the leak repaired when it becomes more of an issue
