Impala navigation
GM's latest navigation system: Routing "Style" provides for "Fastest", "Ecco Route" and "Shortest Route". Fastest this directs to 4 lane roads, freeways / interstate roads regardless of longer distances. Shortest this directs you over unsurfaced roads. Ecco this does pretty effective routing. There is no option to "Avoid unsurfaced roads.

Chevrolet Impala has been excellent!
Just under 54,000 miles - low mileage for an 8 year old vehicle. Intermittent check engine light at 51,000 miles, turned out a plastic air intake scoop had a crack in it. Mechanic replaced it for less than $250. Other than oil changes and new set of tires at 48,000 - nothing else to report. Car gets 18 mpg in pure city driving, 28 mpg at 70+ miles an hour and an average of about 23 mpg for combo driving. Excellent acceleration with the V-6. Love it, hope to have it 5 or 6 more years.

Great car
I never thought to purchase a Chevy product…the Impala was/is a very pleasant surprise…it gave me the feel of a luxury foreign vehicle…other than some annoying recall issues and subpar recall repair work done at the dealership I purchased the car…I have had no issues with the Impala…when I purchased the car in 2013 I was deciding on an Audi Lexus or Benz…licked up and got an Impala as a rental upgrade and I was sold!!
Spacious Car
The car is very spacious. I'm not sure how reliable it is as of yet. I do have some concerns. However, it is a very stylish vehicle that has many features.
