Used 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV Consumer Reviews
You'll like it more than you thought you would
The Chevy Bolt is my second EV in 7 years. In car one, I went 126,000 miles all electric miles and I swore I would never go back to a gas car. Having nothing to do with my so called "Carbon Footprint," an all Electric car is simply just to drive and maintenace costs are counted in pennies. So last month it came time to trade in old "Sparky" for my next EV. I was beyond surprised by Bolt. I had actually gone to the dealer to look at a used EV by another manufacturer. While waiting for the paperwork, I came across the Bolt in the showroom. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. Fit and finish are well above what I would expected, 250+ miles on a single charge, and most critically, the interior space fit all of the work related stuff I have to carry to do my job. (Small car with gobs of room... Who knew?) Then came the test drive. I was hooked. Plenty of power, great handling, and the creacher comforts of the Premier package, make the Bolt irresistible. That coming from a seasoned EV driver (7years & 100+K EV miles) I knew what to expect and Bolt exceeded all of those expectations. Quite simply, you will like the Bolt more than you think. :)

Great Mileage for 2020
The EPA rates my Bolt EV at 259, but I have been consistently hitting 270 miles per charge with a mix 70 highway miles and 40 urban miles. The car is comfortable, cool looking in my opinion and a wonderful, reliable vehicle. Best of all, I enjoy passing by gas stations.

Built for commute
You should know your driving habits and needs. If you do lots of 50 to 150 trips on a daily basis, then this is an economical and environmental best option. The ride is smooth, and the cab and seat really comfortable. It is easy to care for charging if you set up for type 2 at your home. I drive this car daily under all winter conditions and feel very stable and safe.

Pound for pound beast.
I've had this car for 2 years. I use it as a commuting/work vehicle. This car fits the role perfectly! For example, my nearest gas station is in the opposite direction of the highway. The time and money saved, before even stepping out of the door knowing I don't have to go to station, has already made life less stressful. Access to the HOV saves me hours every week driving. The battery range let's me easily commute 100 miles a day, so I only have to charge after 2 full days of driving. The cargo area combined with the folding rear seats lets me load all sorts of oddly shaped items. Ride is comfortable. The standard technology package gives you all of the essentials. It's a solid car. I recommend this car to everyone. I rave about this car more than I do my C 63, and people think I'm crazy for it. If you're looking for a practical car just to get around town, this is it. I can't see myself using a gas vehicle, for that purpose, ever again.

I love my Bolt!
I totally disagree that the Bolt is #3 in its class! The car is roomy enough for 3 sets of golf clubs and 3, 6+foot golfers. My wife's Cadillac XT4 is not as roomy. The car is fun to drive and the 259 range is quite a bit understated. We do not find the seats uncomfortable in the least. The car has wifi and the Bluetooth connects my phone automatically and flawlessly. The navigation works from my phone on the large console screen beautifully. I have a chevy app on my phone which controls all charging functions and much more for both cars.
