Phantom Massaging Drivers Seat

I replaced my 2017 Buick Envision Essence in May 2021 with a 2021 Buick Envision Avner. I enjoyed all the new technology found in this vehicle. The ride is relatively quiet, however there is some road noise which can be attributed to the 20 inch Continental tires. Just recently, the massage function on the driver's seat has a mind of it's own. It will inflate on its own and there is no way to turn it off. I have had it to two dealerships and one thought they had solved the issue. As I was leaving the dealership lot, it again inflated on its own. I have taken it on a trip and it inflates and deflates for 25 minutes and then shuts down. When I stop and restart the vehicle, so does the inflator. I will be making another appointment at the dealership, but will also call GM Customer Service looking for a remedy. This is not acceptable for the money I paid for this trim level..

Wanted to Love It, But Too Many Problems

I drove a Lexus IS then a Mazda6 for the last several years. I was looking for a SUV and test drove just about every SUV there is, including luxury. Finding a SUV that was sleek and forward thinking was hard. Through two months of test driving, I kept coming back to the Envision and finally purchased a few weeks ago. It’s a beautiful SUV, and the ride quality is fantastic. I feel in love with the interior, particularly the infotainment screen and it’s angle to the driver. The technology is easy to use and a good mix of having enough, yet not overwhelming you with too much. The ride quality is great, HP is more than enough, camera quality is fantastic, and most of the technology is easy to use. A few little things with tech that can be worked out, but nothing to complain about for sure. I do wish the rear storage was a bit more, and I would love to see Buick make these in a hybrid for increased MPG. That said, from a 44 year old who never thought he’d see himself in a Buick, to the same 44 year old thinking this SUV is great and sexy, I love it!! UPDATE: I purchased my 2022 Buick Envision new in January 2022. Since 2003, I’ve owned a Ford, a Lexus, and a Mazda, all purchased new, but the Buick has been my most recent vehicle. While I wanted to love this SUV, my experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. At the 3-year mark, I’ve already had to replace several components due to issues or complete failure, including the transmission, air compressor (which fused and caused the air conditioner to fail—in August), driver’s seat electronics (random failure), OnStar/satellite module (twice), torque converter, and coolant cables (unexpected early leaks). I’ve been meticulous about taking the car in for regular maintenance and service, but without the 150,000-mile warranty, I would have been burdened with enormous repair bills. This car has required more repairs than my previous four vehicles combined. The repair wait times have only added to my frustration. The dealership has been great in helping me—none of the delays were their fault, as they were waiting on parts—but it still took eight months to repair the seat electronics and six weeks for the transmission. The OnStar/satellite module has been a recurring issue, and for over a year, I couldn’t use the mobile app. While not using the app was itself not a major inconvenience, it was frustrating since I was paying for the service. While the technology is impressive when it works, the reliability has been a constant problem. The cabin is well-designed, comfortable, and perfectly suited to my needs, which makes my disappointment even greater. I expected much better product quality from GM and Buick. While the dealership has been outstanding, the frequent reliability issues and random failures have left me with no choice but to trade in this vehicle soon. I’ll be returning to one of the Japanese automakers, as I foresee too many future issues and repair costs with the Envision. Let me know if this works!

I love my new car. i downsized from an Enclave and the smaller size is so much better for me. easier to handle easier to drive. Has enough power and is very comfortable. Love all the added features especially the large navigation screen so easy to see and control. Still have lots to learn to love it even more

I love a lot of the new features on this compared to my 2017 Buick Envision. Especially the electronic features to keep eyes on the road while driving. However, this car no longer has a/c controls for individuals riding in the rear seat. The air vents back there are small and the output is not very strong. I wish they hadn’t messed with the old feature of dual controls for passengers.

I love my new car it has so many features that give a comfortable drive and it drives so nice. So classy even when you close the doors they close so effortlessly the doors don’t make loud noises it’s trim is really calming this is a superior car. I used to have a Tuscan Suv Limited and this car is far more superior. Price is affordable.
