The most fun I’ve ever driven!

I had the Sport trim with SMG. I had so much fun with this car! Even when I was commuting 75 freeway miles each way, it was always a blast to drive. In 13 years it had two major problems: the convertible top motor had to be replaced; and the SMG pump failed (a common problem, I’ve read). Neither of these repairs is terribly expensive, considering the car itself. If you’re into used BMWs and find one like this, grab it. You won’t regret it.

I have owned Honda S2000's, Mazda Miata's and MG's but this car is in a class of its own. Smooth, tight and with the kind of character that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling when driving. It exudes quality like none of the others. Not to mention the styling is timeless.
