Don't buy BMW unless you really have extra money.
We had this x3 in 2019. The break router went bad 2 months after we bought it. Dealer replaced front dishes. 2 year later, this summer 2022 the break humming noise came out and vibrated. Dealer said all 4 break dishes and pads needed replaced because the vehicle was not driven enough to that rust buildup caused problems. The break system is not covered in warranty. We have to pay some $2,400 for German parts and local labor. I still suspect the dealer lied on us and cheated for money but we are not professional to fight back with proof. The lesson is that DO NOT BUY BMW unless you are really rich and willing to through your money into the money pit.

Everything it needs to be
Fun to drive, fits four to five people and their stuff, all wheel drive, safe, sporty, classy - the BMW X3 hits all the marks! I liked it so much, I bought it again in the 2020 model.

overall great vehicle
I recently bought a used 2019 X3 2.0 with under 10k miles and have driven it an additional 3k miles since including a 1200 mile trip. The Mineral White paint was extra cost and appears to be a very deep high quality paint job. It has optional 21" wheels with low profile staggered runflats which ride surprisingly well and quiet. Seats are very comfortable and the optional Vernasca leather looks great. I drove the 1200 mile trip in under 18 hours and never got fatigued. The iDrive controls work well and the display is also a touchscreen. The original owner never had a problem....just oil change at 7500m and I've had no issues as well. Vehicle has three drive modes, Sport, Comfort, and Eco which can be individually tuned. Getting 23-24 mpg normal driving with 30+ on my one long trip. So far I've got no complaints with the 2.0 but I'll probably get a performance tune soon. Overall, highly recommend.
The Ultimate Driving Machine
Love my Bimmer. Great ride, comfortable and extremely reliable! My BMW X3 is now going on five years old and my opinion of this vehicle has not changed. I have not experienced any mechanical problems. Just regularly scheduled service. The dealer is professional and very responsive to my needs.
