Third time was a charm
This is my 3rd BMW. I've owned a 01- 330 5 speed when I was 19 that i loved. Then i got a 18-m4 convertible later in life that i gave to my ex wife, another car i also loved. Now I have a 22-m8 comp convertible and i think this is where i end my fast car journey it has what a spirited driver would want Power, style and luxury, if you are 6ft or taller forget about rear seats they dont exist. As far as comfort you will notice its way more luxurious then any other BMW, I've owned atleast. You might forget you're in a race car until you press hard gas. Even the speed you feel is illusive doesn't give you a feel of the cluster. Soft close doors, approach locking and unlocking, fast convertible top opening and closing and diamond interior design w/vented seats just to name a few things that stand out to me. Did i mention POWER? if 617 ponies is not enough power it takes a tune so well and adds so much more power that even the porsches will have to respect, At a way less price point i.m.o if you are not a true BMW fan go get that porsche or ferrari but if you grew up dreaming of bmw like I did get that m8 comp tune it and thank me later. The only reason people dont rate this car a 5 is because they truly dont know what they are buying. Excellent driving experience Cons not as fun to drive because nobody wants to play on the highway like when I had my m4 (; Have a truck as a daily driver space is limited Squeeky brakes if you dont know that's how alot of race cars are which sucks for the money spent
Awesome car
I like everything about it. Power, luxury.
