Used 2004 BMW 7 Series Consumer Reviews
refined beemer
the idrive is very good / the tactile touch is a nice touch on the rotary mouse. The seats are extremely comfortable on long trips We average 26.7mpg on the road Very advanced computer interfaces best bmw yet
Classy Drive
We've driven Jags, Audis, Cadillacs, and of all luxury cars, this has to be the best. The car isolates you from the roadway and road noise. Response is immediate. Blending into traffic is fun, even with those crazy drivers that are bound and determined not to let you get in front of them.

Xanadu of performance and comfort
First BMW and it lives up to the brand id of Ultimate Driving Machine. The thing is a delight to drive, and to ride in. Very comfortable. Technology is over the top, but very manageable, and I look forward to the improvements there (e.g. touch screen, easier to see graphics with polarized sunglasses, etc.). Haven't driven the Audi, but this thing beats the Mercedes and Lexus hands down.
Best In Class
After driving all the contenders, including the Jag XJ, Audi A8, LS430 and of course the Merc S, nothing makes as strong a statement as this one. Unbeatable drive and handling, smooth, beautiful, kicks the hell out of anything in its league. Only qualms are there are still some electronic glitches
No Morre Mercedes
I did not want a BMW it was a "honey do" thing, my wife wanted one. Now there is another reason for the "I told you so's" I love the car, love the feel, love the perfomance....it is a great car. I went from a Mercedes S500....and will never look back.
