2019 A6 is fun to drive: 1 year update
I wanted to update the review of my 2019 A6 premium plus with the 3.0L engine, sports suspension and adaptive cruise technology. The car remains the most fun to drive vehicle I’ve ever owned. The new MMI that appeared radical a year ago is now so familiar. I love the ability to toggle and change info on the screens. I couldn’t imagine going back to the old push knob that seems archaic without a touch screen. Engine acceleration in sports mode is phenomenal. Maybe a bit of lag in automatic mode at low rev but not a big issue for me. Handling is superb and the cabin is very quiet, except for an annoying rattle from the rear sun shades that I would not order again. With snow conditions, the car handled beautifully even with streets that were not plowed well. FYI, my Pirelli P Zero tires performed well but only gave me 18K miles.

I know luxury
We wanted the Prestige but had to settle for Premuim Plus with Executive package. Not many available was my only complaint. I have owned Mercedes and Jag and my wife and I shopped for a year. We test drove the BMW 5 the new Mercedes E. We liked both but when we drove the A6 we just looked at each other and smiled. When you combine smoothness ,power, style ,quality of build and comfort none of the others gave us the same feel. We really were leaning towards another SUV until we drove the A6. I do recommend the big engine because Wow so smooth. The executive package gives you a good value and brings it very close to the Prestige build. The 2021 now includes adaptive cruise as standard on the premium plus. For me with my other luxury cars you have to buy as an option. I will never purchase vehicle without it. And Audi has it perfected compared to Mercedes and BMW. I was concerned about gas but we are getting more than published. We are getting 30 on highway cruising at 75 in cold weather.

Luxury and Balance
I am a long term AUDI owner of multiple vehicles and traded in a 2018 A5 Sportback for a new, Prestige Edition of the 2019 A6. I can honestly say that I am now the lap of true luxury. I had been prior A6 owner 5 yrs. ago and this new car, totally redesigned, is not only more beautiful and striking on the outside, but gorgeous in regards to it's interior and fit and finish. The new technology in which haptic touch screens replace that of Audi's wheel selector takes some time to get used to but if you read the manual, one is able to set up to 7 personal profiles for driving and set a host of innumerable variables to one's liking. This and the use of voice control lessens the need while driving to actually have to touch the screen. I am an Apple IPhone owner and love the Audi Apple car Play interface. I'd highly recommend use of this and one become familiar with the voice commands for Siri. I can receive and send text messages without ever taking my eyes off the road and the voice recognition to text of Apple Car Play is flawless. The Prestige edition had dual pane glass and makes one isolated from the outside such they can truly enjoy the ride and sound system. The car is much more absorptive of bumps and rough road than the A5 Sportback and for one with long drives on an interstate highway to work, it is as if you stepped up from economy to first class, especially if you purchased the individual contour seat package with massaging seats. The car when asked can do 0-60 in 5 seconds but most of the time I only push it to merge on the freeway. When in cruise control ay 70 mph, I am finding that with the mild hybird system, and not driving like a jerk....I can get near 37 miles per gallon on my daily commute of near 70 miles total. Of note, very few persons are buying sedans now in favor of SUVs. Audi is discounting the 2019 heavily and transaction prices are well below invoice making this car a steal deal while demand is low, supplies are high and here come the 2020s to dealers in the fall!

Sweet ride
I traded my 2016 A6 premium plus 2.0 engine for the 2019 A6 premium plus 3.0 engine. After having had an E class Benz and 5 series BMW I have to say this is the finest car I have owned. Responsive, elegant, comfortable, and simply a fine ride.

Buyer beware
I bought this car new in 2019, and in the past year I have had two serious issues. The car’s generator died, and it had to be towed into the dealership to have the part replaced. Just today, a malfunctioning low pressure fuel valve went bad during a long road trip, causing the RPMs to be limited to 2500 for the almost 3 hours of driving then remaining in my trip. Steer clear, or buy an extended warranty.

Turned to lemon in 3 years / 28K miles
I bought my 2019 Audi A6 3 years ago. First two years were great as I loved the car, comfort, style, performance, features. However, the past 12 months have been a nightmare with multiple electrical and mechanical issues. My car is currently at the dealer with a "generator" issue. The parts to repair are on back order from Audi with no ETA. The dealer won't give me a loaner since they don't know when they may get it back. I have been without transportation for 2+ weeks now with no hope of getting my car back. Opened a case with Audi USA, requested a rental car. No help or support from Audi USA or the Dealer as they keep pointing to each other for help. Very frustrating!

A6 interior tech finally surpasses Mercedes & BMW
Just got the 2019 A6 prestige, the tech in this car surpasses all other german cars finally! The heads-up display shows current speed, a speed limit sign, and even navigation information with intersection diagrams! The virtual cockpit with 12" TFT instrument cluster BLOWS AWAY all other manufacturers period, the nicest looking dash available today! Lots of cool high tech safety features like cross traffic alert forward and reverse, it will even automatically steer around a road obstacle if the driver doesn't react! All the touch screens (3 of them) make all other interiors look old-fashioned. The self-driving automatic cruise control will automatically slow the car down if it sees a new speed limit sign, pretty cool the first time it did it-

Lots of fun to drive, electronics not reliable!!
I'm a former Audi Q7 owner, 2008 and 2013 Prestige and now A6 2.0 AWD. Traded my 2015 MB E350 Sport for the A6 and what a difference! 1- The A6 is a much more luxurious ride than the MB E350. The E350 is lower to the ground and for anyone over 40 with back pain it sucked to get in and get out. By contrast the A6 is a few inches higher, has wider doors and it is much easier to get in and get out if it without having to feel your getting into a bath tub with a roof on top. You don't have to bend your knees and hunch to get in. 2- I have 19" tires, ride quality is excellent for me, both city and highway driving is super smooth, I love to corner with this car, and you can turn with laser sharp precision without squealing the tires. For other reviewers complaining about the ride quality, you have to take into acct the rim size and what was their prior car. I would suggest to test drive both the stock 19" wheels and the 20" option and see which one you like. I also agree with other reviewers at first, the ride quality and the firm seats may take you aback some, but that feeling will go away in 3 days exactly :-) 3- Acceleration is fast from a dead stop in dynamic mode, however there is a turbo lag in normal day to day driving in auto, when you need to make a quick left turn for example (again 2.0 engine here). 4- Reliability, the A6 has never got me stranded in 18 month of driving it, however the electronics are very dodgy sometimes. I have been to the shop at least 7 times for electronics! I think 3 recall visits for 3 different issues, 4 visits for safety systems malfunction where the dash tells you to go to service. For example, high beam assist malfunction, brake assist malfunction, rear camera malfunction with all the other sensors. Sometimes the MMI goes totally dark on starting the car with no error codes for the dealer to trouble shoot. Overall, its a nice toy for grownups, as long as its under factory warranty! Out of warranty it would be very dicey for the 2019 year model. Not sure if newer models would fair any better, knowing Audi well, the same bugs of my old 2008 Q7 were encountered in the 2013 AQ7 even thought it was a totally different generation. Hopefully, I have presented you with some value, very nice car overall.

Enjoyed every minute of ownership
I admit that I'm an Audi fan boy. I previously had a 2013 S4 and loved it. My wife currently has an S5 Sportback. This car has the same engine as that car and is very refined. The power delivery is effortless and the power train is smooth. The interior is beautiful with top notch materials and finish. The learning curve for the screens wasn't bad and most settings are set it and forget it. The functions used most often are also accessed through steering wheel controls,, which minimizes distraction. This car oozes quality. I have almost 45,000 trouble free miles and the same on my wife's car. All 3 Audis I've owned have been incredibly reliable and terrific to own and drive.

Absolutely the Best Car on The Market!
This is an absolutely unbelievable vehicle. It is the perfect balance of luxury, performance, and comfort. The technology far exceeded my expectations. I've owned the car for two weeks and am still discovering new features and settings. I opted for the loaded Prestige with 21" wheels and Perrelli summer tires. without a dought, the rims complete this already prefect car. I considered buying the A7, but couldn't find the interior/exterior combo I was looking for, and in the end it came down to a body style choice, with the A7 adding about $10k more. The A7 has far more trunk space, but with the fastback, you give up significant headroom in the rear seats. Otherwise, the cars were nearly idenical.

My Third Audi A6
I have owned three Audi A6, 2005, 2015 and 2022. I purchased my 2022 A6 on February 28, 2022. My 2015 A6 was 7 1/2 years old and had 130,000 miles. I thought it was time for a new car. I found the transition in driving my 2015 to a 2022 A6 to be easy with a modest learning curve for all of the new technology. I am extremely pleased with my new A6 Premium Plus 55 (V6) with the Executive Package. I currently have 3,800 miles on the car. The car looks beautiful, exterior is Daytona Gray and the interior is Beige. The engine has 335 hp with torque of 369. The engine is powerful, steering is precise and the brakes are excellent. The transmission can provide a rough start at times. I skipped the sports suspension and stayed with 19” tires. The ride is smooth but firm. I was told the ride suffers when you get the sports suspension with 20” or 21” tires. The mpg on a trip has been unexpectedly fantastic. I have averaged 36 mpg and 37 mpg on three separate trips. A few improvement are needed. Better front cup holders, needs a coin holder and sunglass holder to improve the interior. I considered a BMW 540 Xdrive but felt the A6 has a better exterior and interior appearance. The BMW 5 series does not have a off switch for the Start/Stop function. I loved my 2015 Audi A6 and so far, I love my 2022 A6. I would recommend the new A6.

Almost Perfect But What’s Bad is Really Bad
I replaced my 2016 Jag XF-S for a CPO Audi A6 3.0 Premium Plus about 30 days ago. The virtual cockpit is amazing; light years ahead of my wife’s 22 E Class. The touch screen for climate and MMI interface work a treat. I find myself using MMI instead of carplay most days. At times the tech and lack of an engine/exhaust note make it feel akin to an appliance. I was worried that the A6 would not be as quick as the Jag (down about 70hp), but I haven’t even noticed (torque is the same). I don’t notice much turbo lag, perhaps due to the mild hybrid. The steering and road feel is pretty good, low road noise in cabin, and no squeaks or rattles to mention. In short, 90% of the car is thoughtfully and well designed. The other 10% beyond bad, perhaps even atrocious. I’ve had constant issues with the electrical hybrid system causing massive and widespread electrical failure. Trust me, it’s no fun getting locked in your own car. However, my biggest gripe are the front seats. I’m 5’8,150lbs and find the seat bottom to be far to narrow and short. Measurements confirm that it is more narrow than an economy seat on Spirit (17 inches vs 17.5 on spirit). It’s a shame that seats on a budget conscience airlines are more comfortable and better engineered. For the record, I have the heated and cooled seats without the massage function. If the rest of the car wasn’t so competent, I would almost consider the poor seats to be enough of a reason to go back to another Jag . So close Audi, but I honestly wish I kept my Jag at this point. UPDATE: I feel like this car was at its best during a limited 45 minute test drive, but day to day commuting was another story altogether. I was so impressed by the engine, transmission, quietness and technology during the test drive I instantly pulled the trigger. Two weeks later the alternator went out which was a 3 week repair, most of which was without a loaner (class action lawsuits are pending because this happens on all A6's and A7's) After the alternator issue, the car was never the same. I experienced persistent "Emergency SOS Malfunction" warnings at highway speeds which would automatically apply the brakes or lane keep assist with out any rhyme or reason (almost causing a couple of accidents). "Central Locking Malfunction" would either lock me in the car forcing me to climb out of the rear door, or would not lock any of the doors at all. A myriad of other small issues would constantly come and go. During 9 months of ownership, the car spend almost 3 months at the dealership who never managed to fix any of the software/electrical issues with the car (could not replicate). I also found the car tough to live with, software/electrical issues aside. Audi spent a lot on what you see, rather than what you touch/feel. The padding on the armrest was very thin and my knees and left elbow were constantly hitting hard plastic surfaces. The front seats were far too uncomfortable and small for a luxury car and the lack of storage in the cabin was laughable. Lots of creeks, especially around the sunroof, and rattles should not be commonplace on luxury vehicle with 25k miles. It's obvious that Audi squeezed too much money out of the interior/cabin of the car. I found it uncomfortable and tough to live with. The controls, while slick on a test drive, are tough to operate without taking your eyes off the road. Otherwise the engine, transmission and noise level were very good. The steering feel was also pretty good, but not in the same league as BMW, Jaguar or Cadillac. In short, the lack of comfort and reliability were enough to make me get rid of it after 9 months of headache ridden ownership. If you are looking for a car that drives well and is stuffed with technology, this is your ride. However it seems that you can get a more comprehensive luxury package (comfort, performance, reliability, sans tour de force technology) from other European manufacturers.

Amazing car!
If you like a quiet yet thrilling drive get the A6 V6! I absolutely LOVE mine! If you want an enjoyable drive to/from work with style that’s the car for you. The V6 3.0 won’t disappoint you a bit, this car can beat any other car on the road without compromising comfort. If you prize your morning quiet drive to work then you need to get this car. Make sure you get either the Prestige trim or the Premium Plus with the Executive and cold weather packages, I also got mine in Mythos Black with the Black Optics package, it’s very attractive in black on black. The infotainment system is great and easy to use. I love the cockpit display and how easy to customize. I test drove the S5 and S4, very nice cars but don’t expect the same comfort level and quite honestly the performance between the three cars isn’t that different, half a second in 0-60 doesn’t justify the noisy drive. 6 months ownership update: still loving this beauty, if I want to pick one thing that I don’t like it would be the transmission; it’s the dual clutch transmission. Before the A6 I drove a 2013 Passat VR6 dual clutch, the Audi has similar driving dynamics and setbacks. If you drive it hard you’ll love it, but if you’re at a stop sign and driving normally you’ll feel the tiny hesitation from the transmission (typical dual clutch transmission behavior). 2 year ownership update: Now the VW part of Audi starts to come out; the dashboard plastics started to make the usual VW noises, not what you expect from a $70,000 car. The car is so quiet that you can hear every tick and crack inside the cabin (talk about the double edged sword). The brakes started to squeak at 18,000 miles but they’re still within specifications according to the dealer. Still a good car, however, my 2019 BMW drives 10 times better (but also broke down twice smh). If I were to do it again I’d buy the S4 or SQ5 just because these models don’t have this humongous dashboard that’s filled with plastics.

Top of the line tech
I had a 2019 Lexus GS 350 F Sport and wanted something more modern. After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase a Audi A6 Prestige. There are a ton of features on this car including best in class interior and more screens than you could ever want. The car exudes luxury on the inside and out. Love all the technology you get with the prestige package. I do have some gripes especially with the me Audi app. You can only lock and unlock doors. There is no feature to remote start car when it is cold or hot outside. Another big miss is not having notifications on app if you leave doors unlocked. Had issues with initial app set up and called Audi 3 times. All 3 times they said they could not hear me and hung up. Having a Lexus in the past I can say service was much better with Lexus. So overall car is great with mind blowing tech but Audi needs to work on their service. Would I buy again? Time will tell.

I have owned my 3.0 liter A6 Premium Plus, with sports package, for a full year now. I upgraded from and 2017 A4. Exterior in dark blue is stunning. Interior design is one of best period! Driving modes work well to customize the drivability of the car. Car is incredibly quiet making it possible to enjoy the upgraded stereo at any speed. The first impression is luxury. But that said it can perform. Test drive one you won't want to leave it behind...

1st time Audi owner
I've always wanted one of the German Sports sedans and found myself in the position to buy one in 2021. I've driven a variety of American and Japanese cars and even considered a Tesla Model 3 while looking at the Audi. This car was off lease when I purchased in November 2021 with 14k miles on it. I loved the looks and the tech as well as the performance. The ride is quiet and the car responds easily. My biggest complaints are - as noted in the review, there is very little cabin space, I mean very little, the trunk is somewhat limited and the lack of knobs is annoying. I use Apple Car play which reduces the amount of time I need to spend looking at the MMI. I also found the built in voice recognition allows me to use voice to change the cabin temperature among other things. Biggest complaint is that I have had several recalls, "Campaigns", in Audi lingo and in one case the 48volt battery/alternator died on me causing a nearly 2 month wait with a loaner to get it repaired. Fortunately every problem to date has been handled under the warranty. Unfortunately that period has ended. The pros are endless - the car looks and drives amazing. Effortless acceleration, an incredibly quiet and smooth ride, lots of tech toys and more. The in seat massage feature is great on long trips. I drove from KC to Atlanta and back last year and the car averaged 35 mpg+ at speeds somewhat 😄 above the speed limit. Would I buy another Audi? Yes. Would I buy the first model year? No. But I learned that lesson years ago when I bough the 1996 Dodge Avenger...Yeah I was young and stupid. Endless problems.

Pretty car with poor ride quality
Both the interior and exterior appearance of this vehicle is excellent. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the ride. Apparently, Audi is under the impression that this former luxury car is only driven by those who envision themselves as formula one drivers. The suspension is so firm, that's once off the glassy smooth test ride route, you will become intimately acquainted with ever road imperfection. In addition, the transmission is jerky, particularly at low speeds. The turbo lag is the worst of any car I have ever driven. The car will go from 0-60 very quickly, but the first second or two with your foot on the gas, will be ignored. This car drives nothing like the amazing 2013 Audi A6 I traded in. If you were hoping for a refined ride, look elsewhere. At a minimum, you should test drive this vehicle off of routes carefully selected by the dealer.

TOO MANY ISSUES - NOW PART OF MY PAST
Bought used with 28k miles. 7 months into it failed alternator causing all systems to shutdown and leave me stranded with little warning. Apparently a major known issue. At 11 months into my ownership, I heard a ticking noise that got louder. Brought car in and at 39k miles engine failure needing replacement. Most unreliable car I have ever owned. Have gotten rid of this car. Now using our second car, Toyota, with 187k miles and never fails me! Audi was always properly serviced so no need for this!

Quiet luxury with a kick!
The 2019 A6 is very luxurious, with first-rate materials throughout. The interior design is very clean and loaded with technology. The V-6 engine is very quiet, but when pushed it provides immediate and ample power.
Great car
Smooth ride and nice appointments.
The Q5 is gone long live the A6
After 92,000 happy miles the 2018 Q5 is gone. With the way cars depreciate it was time to trade or commit to driving it forever. The new A6 with the 3.0 is a much different car. Definitely meant for covering miles in comfort, much less of a multipurpose grocery getter. I drive frequently from close to the Oregon border to San Diego. For this the A6 is far superior to the Q5. gas mileage is between 35-40 with the 48volt mild hybrid, a pleasant improvement over the Q5. Ride is quiet and comfortable, steering is excellent with an almost hydraulic feel. Brakes are powerful but touchy, will take some getting used to as the input gives an an unexpected rapid response. Modulation not a strong point. I had a similar experience with a 2012 A4 so maybe the sedans are set up a bit different. The A4 was a very good car but felt a bit claustrophobic. The A6 completely solves that issue. The display is almost entirely touch screen and I was just getting used to the MMI knob, so now I have fingerprints on the screen. Learning curve is very quick for the touch screen and no more Nav screen above the dash so it finally looks like it was designed into the car instead of an add on. Biggest difficulty is access to the trunk. Small opening but very deep, not nearly as easy to toss things in as the Q5. Interior quality and fit and finish are typical Audi which is very high and durable. Cheap feeling plastic buttons from previous models have been eliminated and this one seems worthy of Audi's self proclaimed one of the best cars made. Based on my past experience with Audi reliability I have high hopes for this one to do the near 100,000 miles with little more than routine maintenance. Did I mention it is fast? It is pretty fast so currently debating the $800 to add the APR stage 1 ECU tune. Almost 500 lbs torque for the tune, so intoxicating and the dealer said it won't impact the Audi warranty as long as no hardware is replaced. I expect eventually I'll give in but only because it should also increase the gas mileage, ha ha. I picked the Premium trim because it had all the features I wanted but lacked the ones I never use such as cooled seats (just feels weird) and adaptive cruise control which I've had on 2 previous cars and found that along with lane correction resulted in a sleepy driver. I prefer a more interactive experience with driving to the automated one.

Are you driving a car or playing a video game?
Drove this car for 180 miles while my A4 was being serviced. Pros: Outstanding power, great grip, smooth engine, very quiet inside, great sound system. Cons: Even in comfort setting it’s a Princess and the Pee situation with the 20 inch tires - you can feel every pebble on the road. Yet while this might suggest the car is set up for folks with sporting ambitions, the steering doesn’t provide any feedback and is totally numb. Seems the car can’t decide whether to coddle or race. Also for there is constantly the question who is actually driving the car - the driver or some computer that constantly advises on speed limits, makes course corrections and what not. It’s an eerie feeling, and you never know who is in charge. I personally also don’t like the dual screen interface at all. It’s very non intuitive to use. The windows were fogged up one morning, but I couldn’t figure out how to defog them. Even simple tasks require multiple steps through the touch screens. The touch screens are difficult and dangerous to use while driving and can blind you when you drive with an open sun roof and the sun comes from a certain angle. I very much prefer to way more intuitive set up in the base A4... Overall: The car is a technical tour de force. This might delight techies, but sometimes less is more and you never know whether the car’s computer or you are driving the car. If you are in the market for a $78k car, LOVE playing video games and are into virtual reality, this may be your machine. Personally, I find the Mercedes E450 more appealing at this price point. The E450 is more comfortable but still handles remarkably well, and it much more closely resembles a regular car.

OK
Vehicle is good looking. Electronics are good, don't like touch screen, prefer buttons and dial's. Acceleration is good from a dead stop, but bad turbo lag, especially from 30 to 50 mph. To me supercharger was more responsive than turbo charger. Have vehicle with 20" tires, poor ride, noisy and alot of vibrations. I use comfort mode and still not that great. Seat's hard and not that comfortable. Would not repurchase this vehicle. Had noise, rattle from day of purchase. Finally so annoying, brought car back to dealership. Noise coming from moon roof. Repair could go from replacing felt around moon roof to having to take out front and rear windows, remove headliner, take out moon roof and reset roof beams that hold moon roof in place. This is a premium vehicle? Third and last audi. If your thing of buying this vehicle, you better give it a good test drive over a bumpy road. Will update review after repairs done. Repairs was to replace felt, vehicle much quieter, will see how long that lasts. Had to press garage door icon 5 times before garage door opened. After one year got rid of vehicle. Purchased different brand, with dials, buttons and touch screen. More solid, bigger engine, Quieter and much quicker. Dumped car after 1 year, bought BMW M550i.

I’m trying to love my A6
Have had my Audi A6 for 10 months. I’ve only put 2500 km on it. First disappointment is the number of recall notices I have received. Driving the car was fun except for the clunking noises from the rear end which turned out to be the rear jounce bumpers, yes on vehicle that had only 2200 km on it at the time. Now after a completed recall on the fuel tank vent, I did not have accurate fuel readings. So back into the shop, turns out it needs a new fuel tank which is going to take 3 weeks to get here (I hope). I’m at a crossroads with this vehicle. I have very little confidence in its reliability and am seriously considering trading it in for something other than an Audi. This would be sad as I really liked the car.

Okay but the dual touchscreens are a step backward
The biggest positives are that the car is very quiet and rides well with comfortable front seats as expected in a luxury car. It is a smooth and relaxing drive. The styling is also classy. I think Audi really missed in moving to dual touchscreens and moving things like heated seat controls and temperature controls to the screens. Compared to my A5 or previous Audis, the interior is a step backwards. I say that because the dual touchscreen is inferior to the button and dial controls Audi used to use in both feel and function. The touchscreens get unsightly quickly with all the finger prints and the feeling of the haptic feedback on the touchscreens pales in comparison to the satisfying clicks of actual buttons and knobs. You also have to take your eyes off the road to do simple things like adjust temperature or put on a heated seat that you easily could do by feel with a temperature knob or hard button. I think Audi also uses too much gloss black and shiny silver trim in high touch places. Combine that with the dual touchscreens and the car looks dirty really easily. The wood trim is really nice as is the stitching though there is a surprising amount of hard plastic. For instance on the seatback. Trunk space is fine. It isn’t that tall of a trunk but is deep and well-shaped. Cubic foot wise it is smaller than some competitors but real world it is fine. I do really like the 360 parking cameras and the Audi virtual cockpit is really good. Real leg room is good in the outboard positions but the hump is big and the middle seat isn’t great because of that. You really wouldn’t want to try to cram three adults back there because of that. Something like a Lexus ES (or even an Accord!) has a more usable back seat for three. The powertrain is a mixed bag. Turbo lag isn’t too bad (though noticeable sometimes) and the midrange torque is good. The transmission is top notch. In cruising the engine is quiet but rev it and the four sounds like it could be out of a Corolla or Jetta. Not very luxurious or smooth sounding. Our 2022 Acura MDX cost about the same amount and the 6 in it feels and sounds much nicer. Same with previous cars with 6 cylinder engines. The handling of the car is solid though it really isn’t a car that encourages you to want to tear around corners. Frankly either our 2018 A5 or the MDX feels more fun and eager and encourages more throwing them into corners. The A6 can do that but clearly is a car best for cruising. Maybe the 6 would really change the feel.

A6 V6 Clunking While Stopping
I have a 2020 A6 V6 with 600 miles. When it comes to a stop, about 60% of the time it makes a loud clunking noise. Dealer says it’s the clutch and it’s normal. It’s very distracting and shouldn’t be happening on a car of this caliber.

Seamless power at all speeds- Lots of bells and whistles- would prefer manual switches and dials for any function performed while driving.

Fabulous Car!!!
I wouldn’t change a thing accept I agree the touch screen verses the knobs is some adjusting and prefer not looking down so much. Honestly it’s like changing from a BlackBerry phone to a I phone. This will take some getting used too. Best design I believe out there and wonderful handling and quality. Cheers to Audi transforming over the past decade to become best in class.

you don't get what you pay for
Interior features are spectacular. After 3 BMWs, made a change because of the dash and infortainment center. (I also own a Q5) A6 has great aesthetics in and out though definitely not as stable on the corners as my 5 series. Ongoing reverse camera issues. Camera works sporadically. 5x to dealers and issue not resolved.

Nice to drive but unreliable
Purchased car 5 months ago and have had it in the shop 3 times. Twice for a known infotainment problem, it keeps deleting favorite destinations including home. It is currently in the shop after it stopped running and had to be towed about 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for a fuel level sensor that they believe will fix the problem. I heard my dealer may have a couple others with the same problem. What next and can we rely on this car in the future?

Pure luxury
This vehicle is extremely quiet, comfortable and fast with the 3.0T. My Prestige was the nicest car I’ve ever owned. Awesome MMI, drivers assistance, beautiful interior, steering was excellent as was transmission. Previous to the A6 I had a Lexus GS350 so with the A6 I missed the edgy sportiness of the Lexus. This is the only reason the A6 was not 5 stars for me.
