Bought yesterday VW Napeville, IL for $30,600 incl. destination. (no taxes/fees/etc) I took the $4000 dealer cash and not the 0% the financing. Got 3.4% for 72 months through Chase via the dealer finance guy. Emailed 15 dealers, all but one were ~$32,000 - USAA/Zag.com (buying service) had it at $31,600. Thanks to this board I knew I could do better even though many dealers said "where'd you come up with ... Read More
I am the proud owner of a new Routan and just learned of an action that VW dictates to it's dealers that robbed me of a great option. I am looking to potentially take advantage of some of VW's lease specials on the Routan and I want to see if my logic is flawed. They are advertising that they you can get a 2010 Routan S for $289/month with no money down. The MSRP on that car is $26,700. Is it safe to assume the same parameters on a more expensive model. I need help on deciding wether to get a Routan or Dodge/Chrysler?!?! I like both of them, but I am worried that they might not continue the Routan in 2010 because of the poor sells in 2009.
