The Porsche 2009 PDK is THE best 911 I have had. I have owned it now for 2 years. I have come out of a 97 Twin turbo, then a 996 GT3, Then lastly a 997.1 GT3. I was GOING to buy a 2008 GT3RS. It only had AC. I went on a whim to drive the 911 Carrera S PDK. I was BLOWN away. Its faster than any GT1 motor ... Read More
Hi aguag. Porsche Financial Services' October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2010 911 C4S Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are .00167 and 62%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00167 and 50%. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi surgeon1. Porsche Financial Services' October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 911 C2 Cabriolet with 15,000 miles per year are .00167 and 52%, respectively. I have never personally driven this car in the snow, but my guess is that it is absolutely terrible in it. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi surgeon1. Porsche Financial Services definitely isn't leasing 2009 911s as new vehicles any longer. You can still lease a new 2010 model though. PFS' October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2010 911 C4 Cabriolet with 10,000 miles per year are .00167 and 65%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00167 and 53%. Car_man Host Prices ... Read More
Walk away from 5% discount. It is nonsense! Every dealer is doing at least 10% off all 2010 models. You may even be able to stretch it to 15% off MSRP...I tried but couldn't do it. I was originally looking at a 2010 C4S but ended up with a plain old 2010 vanilla 911 Carrera with 10% off MSRP...I drove the C4S and I ended up purchasing the 911 Carrera. The ... Read More
Hey gre09. I want to lease a 2010 911 Carrera. My dealer is quoting me 1100 per month for 36 months. $5000 down and 10,000 miles per year. I think I'm getting ripped off. Anyone with suggestions? This is my first Porsche. I test drove one last week and I was SOLD. I just want to get the best deal.
Hi gre09. Porsche Financial Services' August buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2010 Porsche 911 Coupe with PDK and 12,000 miles per year are .00167 and 55%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. I don't believe that Porsche is currently providing any cash incentives on leases of this car. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences ... Read More
Hi..I just found it the other day...dealer cost on a 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera with no options is $69,800.00 give or take a couple of dollars. Jack
Hi...Can anybody advise me what type of discount I can expect to receive off of the MSRP on a 2010 911 Carrera. Sticker price was $84,505.00. The dealer told me he could take off 7%. I have read in other posts that buyers are getting $20K off the sticker price. Can this be true? Thanks, Jack
And I'll go ahead and repeat that I think this thread is obsolete since we're on 2010 Nissan GT-R and 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo currently in production. Any future comparisons have nothing to do with the 2009 GT-R or 2008 Turbo, since changes were made to each, and they are different beasts now.
On a whim, decided to re-visit some old threads. Forgot about how much fun this one was. But now that both the GT-R and 911 are almost completely sold out of 2009 models and updating for 2010, I thought it would be nice to recap what happened with this competition to now. We spent a lot of time talking about speed. There seemed to be some confusion between speed and racing ... Read More
A year ago, Porsche might well have led the jeering chorus of naysayers where full-electric cars are concerned. Well, perhaps no longer. Because the 2010 Ruf eRuf Model A has just found its way to the seat of our pants and, happy to report, it significantly outperforms our expectations of a battery-toting Porsche 911 at this early point in the Electric Age. 2010 Ruf eRuf Model A First Drive
Well skarie-san, my video is better than yours - and in mine the S2000 is ahead of the 350Z the entire time: This still does not prove anything. It all depends on the driver, if it was only the S2000 and the 350Z in that race that might would have changed the out come. The bottom line here isn't whether the TL is fugly or why a 350Z "roadster" weighs 600 ... Read More
