It could be very bad news, unfortunately. You need to read about the chain guide issue: http://www.q45.org/techhelp.html Read everything under " Chain Guides (CRITICAL for 1990-1993):" Sorry. See if you can get juice directly to the starter, or manually turn the engine.
Sorry for seeing this topic much later (May). When I purchased my '93 Q45 in 7/96, I had the dealer install a SONY 6 disc changer in the trunk as I had seen on other earlier Qs. well Infiniti's market base is smaller than the Lexus but now it's getting to be ridiculous. the ratio of LS400 to Q45 sales used to be 2 to 1..and now its 4+ to 1. It's funny how it's 1990 all over again (1989, whatever). Lexus goes for luxury and Infiniti performance. Same result.
