2018 Volvo V90 Cross Country
I have owned this V90CC for a year now. Mine has luxury package which includes massage and adjustable front seats, wheel flares painted body color—also climate package which has heated seats all around and a heated steering wheel. Also, have HUD which I like a lot. I especially like the Pilot Assist which is Volvo's semi-autonomous driving option. I drive this car in Boston traffic … occasionally and literally never step on the brake pedal for thirty to forty minutes of stop-and-go traffic. The car is quiet, has comfortable seats, decent base audio, good handling, and is fuel efficient. The power at 316hp is certainly adequate, I have gotten used to the 4-cylinder and consistently get 29mpg on the highway at 70mph. With the seats folded down there is a ton of room for hauling stuff, with roof bars and a Thule box, more room. I have a 2017 S550 Mercedes as well and it has a small trunk, thirstier. But....to be fair, it has a different purpose than the Volvo. I am NOT and SUV person, the Volvo does so many things so well, I don't need or want a tall boxy SUV.
UPDATE: After 42K miles I replaced rear brake pads myself, easy job. Great car, no issues. I have Polestar tune, definitely worth doing. For all the complainers about 335 horsepower not being enough or that it is just a four cylinder.....this car has plenty of power. The Pilot Assist cruise control still continues to amaze me! Perfectly reliable!
