2020 Tesla Model Y
The quality of fit and finish along with indifference from the Tesla Store was the worst I have experienced in 55 years of owning cars. My NEW Tesla Y arrived with the following issues/needs: the "Frunk" had dents and dimples and had to be replaced, the center console between the two front seats was mis-aligned and needed replaced, the right side doors had the sill replaced and then … doors were out of alignment creating a large gap which in turn allowed for air to infiltrate along with road noise, the USB-C chargers did not work in the rear, the rear view mirror console was replaced due to rattles, other smaller issues were also noted. The Tesla Store simply shrugged and said they will take care of this. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was told that they door and hood alignments was the best they could and were the best they could do and were within mfg. tolerances. The repairs were not acceptable but I had no recourse. So, my solution was to trade the car in ASAP, before any other issues or recalls occurred. I lost thousands but I am happier now that this car is gone!
