If you’re eligible for EV incentives, absolutely nothing can beat the economy and performance of this car. The basic model is exciting to drive and handles well. The battery life is dependent on your driving style - definitely expect to have less miles per charge if you take advantage of the performance or have a lot of freeway driving. I’m fortunate enough to have free charging at work … and with the cost savings between that and not having to maintain a combustion engine, I’m not sure anything comes close to the value of the model 3. The Tesla charging system is ubiquitous and makes road trips very easy. I have no complaints through 2 years.
