2019 Ram 2500
I own the 2500 deisel model. I bought it to tow my 30 foot camper and needed something that could climb the mountain passes of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Montana. My truck tows so well and is so comfortable that an 8 hour day on the road is not fatiguing in the least bit. Mileage when towing is 11 to 14 MPG and 20 to 24 MPG empty. I have a history of encountering every imaginable … animal on non-interstate highways so I installed a Ranch Hand cattle guard to protect the radiators up front which improved the looks of the truck quite a bit. I also added an auxhillary 40 gallon fuel tank in the bed since RAM does not offer large capacity tanks for rural traveling. Buying this truck won't have me second guessing any other make or model since it delivers on many key points needed to meet my needs. Comfort pleases the wife, power delivery pleases me, good fuel mileage pleases my wallet, safety features pleases the grand kids, and quite frankly, I can't find many faults with this truck. As a point of comparison, I have had 2 GMCs, 4 Fords, and this is my 3rd RAM in a row. Its a towing road king. Enough said.
