2018 Jaguar E-PACE
I always wanted a sharp, sporty mid-sized luxury SUV. After months of research, reading reviews and looking thru automobile magazines I test drove the brand-new Jaguar E-Pace, First Edition. This was in 2018 and after almost 60 thousand miles I can tell you that Jaguar hit a home run when they designed and built this SUV. The E-Pace has plenty of power, a beautiful, well-designed … interior and rides like a dream. My wife loves this vehicle so much she drives it to work, and I am stuck with her Lexus. Is this a flawless vehicle? No. We have had multiple mechanical problems with the E-Pace. Within the first 3 months we had the turbo and the transmission replaced. A software update had to be completed. However, each time we had to take the E-Pace in for repair, the service center took good care of us. We were given a loaner vehicle and once the service department even delivered our E-Pace too our home. Was I thrilled we had so many issues at the beginning of our purchase? Absolutely not. However, now that all the issues are years behind us, I can't wait to jump in the driver's seat and start another long, worry-free road trip.
