Great after 3K miles, only a couple of niggles

Overall impressive car - rides great, interior is amazing, tech is amazing. Impressions after 3K miles - SF Hybrid Limited
PROS:
-tech is absolutely amazing. From the cameras (and the clarity of those), to the safety tech, really amazing
- drives really well for this class of car. Driving feel is very good considering it's a Hyundai at this price point, and a mid SUV to boot. Very … tight.
- interior is very nice for the class. Punches well above its weight here
CONS:
- fuel economy for this size car and considering it's a hybrid is terrible. If MPG is your most important thing, get the Rav4 instead...gas mileage blows this out of the water - for very similar size and price point.
- this is a YMMV situation, but for ME, the driver seat is horribly uncomfortable and I have tried every position, including lumbar. Makes me REALLY miss my old Mazda CX-9 driver seat, which was amazing, even after 12 years.
- "hybrid hiccup" - this one you need to watch out for. From a still start, sometimes the engine will just "not go" when you push the gas. I think it happens mostly when it's trying to start only using the EV motor instead of the combo EV/ICE. But it's freaking dangerous, so...beware. :D Doesn't always happen either, so it's almost more concerning bc it's not consistent. Still not a dealbreaker if I were interested in car, but a bit disappointed they didn't catch this in production.
- I'm not sure I can recommend the hybrid version over the ICE version. I drove both, and absolutely loved the ICE. The pickup and power is just so much more convcing and confidence-inducing. Not sure the very small difference in MPG between the two options is worth the difference in MSRP AND the performance hit you get. HIGHLY recommend driving both hybrid and non-hyrid before deciding, AND looking at MPG comparisons between the two (after say 2K miles). Pretty small difference really. I actually wanted the plug in, but could not find one, and I think that would be the best option of all three.
Overall I would give this a 7/10 rating. If the fuel economy were even slightly better, it would get a better score.
