Heartbreaking Disappointment

2022 Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid
I've had my Escape Titanium PHEV for less than 3 years. I really wanted to love this car, but twice this year I jumped in my car and it refused to start. The first time, I had it towed and Ford replaced the 12 volt battery. The second time - 4 months later- the tow truck driver unplugged the battery for a few minutes and the car started. Luckily, I was home both times.
I purchased a … PHEV to save on gas and take road trips without worrying about finding charging stations. Now, there's no way I feel safe taking a road trip if I have to worry about the car not starting. I've had Fords for the last 25 years, but I don't want to go back to a full gas and don't want a 100% EV either, so I'll have to go to another car company to find a more reliable SUV PHEV.
