2022 Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid
The electric range is great. We did over 1500 miles without putting gas in it due to mostly driving on electric. The seats are comfortable on a long journey and the 360+ package is great with the adaptive cruise control in traffic.
The handling is good for an SUV and better than the competitors I test drive - that being said, you always sacrifice a lot by getting an SUV over a normal … car due to the higher center of gravity so this isn’t going to replace my BMW convertible for canyon runs anytime soon.
The mpg on gas only driving isn’t great (35mpg average) but we only use that on the occasional long journey so it’s not the end of the world.
