2010 Chevrolet HHR
My 01 Volvo finally died unexpectedly on a work night miles from home so I found myself in a sketchy buy here pay here, low and behold I see the ugliest beast I ever did see, a 2010 Chevy HHR with only 108,xxx miles on her in my price range! Off we go. 3 years later, I repaired a door handle ($12 &20 mins), a turn signal ($18& 15 mins) and hun assemblies & break pads ($110 & about an hr … and a half) she now sits at 170,xxx, yes, 20,000 miles a year for three years and that’s all she’s asked of me! Everyday she starts runs and goes, snow, sun and rain. She’s ugly, she’s retro and god does her radio and speakers SUCK, but she never hesitated for a second. By far one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. Recently got a modern fancy can and she’s been garaged to be my teens first car in a year because I have 0 doubt she’s got another 100,000 miles in her!
