Used 1995 Toyota Tercel Consumer Reviews
great little car
I bought this car new in 1995. I only drive it 3000 miles per year, but after 10 years I think I can truthfully say it's a great car. Fun to drive, great steering, excellent brakes, fits in any parking space, good dash layout, roomy trunk for a small car. I have had zero problems, replaced the battery a year ago, that's it. Tires look like they have another 30k on them, at least. The struts are getting soft, replacements are $70 each plus inst. I sort of like the smoother ride so I think I'll put off the replacement. I get high 30s mpg around town, high 40s on the highway; last summer I got 50 mpg on one fillup, all highway driving. Keep it under 60 (not easy) for best mileage.
EconoBox
Was looking at a couple of econobox - settled on this car because of availability and excellent general consumer ratings. Also, this seems to be the most reliable car in the 1995 category according to JD Powers. If you find a good used one, grab it - this is a great car for the price.
11 YEARS
I did not even see the OPTION to enter the year 1991. I bought mine new in 1991 and STILL own it. By FAR a top of the line vehicle. I have driven the FIRE out of it. I liked it SO much I even bought a 1995 model with only 52,000 miles and expect it to last FOREVER
This car just keeps ticking away!
I bought this car used and have had it for 7 years now.It now has 122,000 mi and it just won't quit.It has never let me down and this car has been put through the ringer.I just recently replaced the original battery and the original brakes and that is it.I really won't be able to trust any other brand but Toyota now.I hope my next one is as great as this one.
tercel 4dr
this car is very dependable and has great fuel economy. Air conditioning works well but sometimes get less power with it on high.
